We've stayed 4 times, each in a different room. Favorite room is Saunders. Has a great separate sunroom perfect for reading and relaxing. Great breakfast. Plenty of spaces to sit back and relax. Will be back again.

Considering this building was used for 100 years as an old women's home, then sat vacant until recently, what has arisen from the ashes is fit for royalty. Each room is decorated with beautiful period furniture, a blend of art deco, and earlier periods. The inn was like a museum, with so many artifacts, books, etc. Our room was first...

Wow- We are so thrilled you enjoyed the exceptional charm of KDI! Often the smallest details make the biggest impact, don't they? A little touch, like water pressure, makes SUCH a difference when starting your day! Every, even little things, matter here. Thank you for your keen eye- We truly appreciate your review. Comfortable accommodations in a beautiful old building. The decor is lovely. Chocolate and port in the evenings is a nice touch. Great location. Excellent breakfast. Very nice stay. Would highly recommend.

We attended a wedding in Durham and were put up at the King's Daughters Inn. From the moment we entered the doors until we said goodbye three days later our experience was lovely in every way. Because of a mix up about length of stay we actually stayed in two rooms. Each had its own compelling character, and the other rooms...

While planning my fiancee's 50th birthday celebration, her children suggested that we end the night at an artistic and distinctive hotel. Not wanting to disappoint, I called every boutique hotel in the Triangle and visited a number of them as well As soon as we walked into the Kings Daughters Inn, we all exclaimed that the web site does not...

From the gracious greeting and free snacks at check-in to the friendly hellos when you come and go, this place is fantastic. I only spent one night but it was a terrific night. They matched the price I received on Hotel Tonight which was almost $90 off the regular price and provided me a great room with a single queen...

We make regular trips to Durham so that my wife can participate in a clinical trial at Duke. Our visits are made under the worst of circumstances. The bright spot in each visit is our stay at The King's Daughters Inn. The rooms are great. The staff is thoughtful and always there to help. Morning breakfast is delicious. The bed...

Each common area and every uniquely decorated room feature magnificent materials and appointments. From bowls, vases, lamp shades, hutches, mirrors, headboards and much, much more, our amazement was non-stop. The creative combination of fabrics and materials makes it a joy to just walk through the hall-ways. We stayed in the Saunders suite and we're thrilled with the additional room adjacent...

The King's Daughter is in a nice quiet neighborhood. The hotel pays attention to every amenity, right down to two glasses of port on one's bedstand prior to bed.
