From the moment you enter the gates to the grounds of Wintersun you feel captivated by the natural beauty. We entered the home and were delighted with the ambiance and beautiful decorating details of every room. Our beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was great. Highly recommend you stay at Wintersun while visiting Asheville.

A smaller version of Doubton Abbey...fireplaces everywhere. Beautiful appointments throughout and a great place to share an anniversary or birthday. We were one of 5 couples there to share a milestone birthday. Anything that you would need is provided as the kitchen is very well equipped. A waterfall in the backyard and lots of trails to explore . A trout...

On top of the fact that we absolutely loved the Asheville area, the house was absolutely amazing and so comfortable to stay at. It is the perfect distance between Hendersonville and Asheville, with a few nearby restaurants if you don't want to venture far. We also really enjoyed the grounds with the walking trails and labyrinth. Looking forward to returning...

Words can't begin to describe the incredible experience that I had while recently staying at the Inn at Wintersun. I took my girlfriend (now fiancée) to Asheville for a surprise birthday trip. We're from Atlanta and both love the mountains, restaurants, and were looking forward to seeing the Biltmore decorated for Christmas. My Wintersun experience actually started several months before...

Just returned from a visit to Asheville and had my first experience at Wintersun. Previously I have stayed at the Grove Park, the Biltmore, and the Grand Bohemian. None of these can compare to Wintersun for a romantic special getaway. Nina is a gracious hostess and the inn is beautiful and special. The grounds are immaculate and offer privacy and...

My husband and I visited the Inn for our 5 year anniversary. It was a weekend of rest and relaxation. We spent Friday hiking the many trails on the property and visited a quaint little Amish market with awesome sandwiches for lunch. We had dinner at a great restaurant in the Biltmore village called "The Corner". Then we did the...

My wife and I rented Wintersun for the week of Thanksgiving from Nina. She was kind enough to let us have the entire Inn for a week. We had our 3 children and spouses and 7 grandchildren. It was the best Thanksgiving we have ever had. I cannot say enough about our experience but we definitely plan on going back...
