I had scheduled a 6 day stay that I cut in half due to the following , I found pubic hairs on the bathroom sink, I had to go and get $30.00 of cleaning products myself to clean the room because none were provided for the room or cleaned, and what looked like mold on all the light fixtures and was woken up at 4:00am due to a bedbug bite and lost $400.00 of clothing that was on the bed.I have spent the last 2 days being bounced from COMFORT INN and Expedia and no one is helping,

The carpet in the room was very dirty, there was mold underneath the air conditioner unit. There was mold where the fridge set in the cabinet, No ice machine working on 3 floors out of 4. The air vent in the bathroom was filthy. I asked the young man at the front desk if someone could come and vacuum my room he said he didn't have anyone to do it and he asked me if I wanted the vacuum cleaner and that I can do it myself. I told him NO I don't work here. I also ask if I can get some fresh towels brought up to my room he said I had to bring the old towels to the desk and throw them in a bin, so I did and I asked him for some fresh towels he said I have to catch up with housekeeping to get some. He said he doesn't have control over the laundry people. I asked for room service on the 3rd day and he stated since I was going to be here for 5 days they would clean it then. I stayed at this hotel 2 years ago and it was really a nice hotel that is the reason why I came back. The hotel has a stale odor to it. This is the worst experience I ever had at a comfort inn hotel and I have stayed in several throughout the country. This was a horrible experience. I have pictures of my entire stay. I will never come back to this hotel. I have pictures for my entire stay. The swimming pool was horrible it was green with algae all over the entire pool.

We've stayed at this hotel a number of times over the past few years. It was always clean, the service was great, and while it wasn't the most upscale (or even up-to-date) place in Fayetteville, it was our go-to spot in that area. Our last stay, about 6 months ago, made us begin to wonder if it might be time to find a new spot. Last week we stopped wondering. Some of the issues were small: no remote for the TV in the living area, a closet door that wouldn't stay on its track. Some were frustrating: too few towels, no blanket on the bed. And some were unforgivable: an unvacuumed floor, mold in the tub, an odor in the elevator. We didn't stay to check out their breakfast offerings. We were just eager to get out of the building.

Well first let me say that I have stayed at this hotel plenty of times in the past and absolutely enjoyed the level of comfort and service! I enjoyed it so much that when I hosted a conference several years ago, I used this hotel as one of the lodging options for a good bulk of out of town guests! I even left an amazing review back then. So imagine my excitement to come back! Needless to say, I was so disappointed! The service was horrible and typically southerners are very hospitable, not this time! We get our room and wow it was dirty. The lamps had rust on them, the toilet seat was peeling, floors were dirty, TV only had a few channels, among uncomfortable beds and dirty bathroom. We only stayed one night and checked into another hotel after that for the remainder of our stay in NC. I could not wait to get out of there and get a shower, felt so dirty staying there. I really hope they do major renovations to the entire location for there sake. I may come back if it’s much cleaner but we’ll see. The other hotel may have won me over unfortunately for Comfort Inn. I realize we have been in a pandemic and maybe that is why there’s no pride in the upkeep of the property, but let’s do better... especially if you charge people almost $100+ a night.

We stayed at this hotel in January 2021; and off and on the last few years, since we have family in the military. The last time was in April 2019. What a sad state this hotel has fallen into. Tragic because of how well they treated military in the past...always supportive. The bedroom was fine, the bathroom had hair everywhere, black mold and so much hair in the shower, and a stained couch. This is suppose to be a non-smoking hotel; well it seems that some of the occupants can’t abide by this, especially with the marijuana. It is rampant on all floors. So bad, that I can not stay here again, nor will my family. The smell is terrible and it gets into the rooms, that’s the really bad part! And it’s every single night!! The only thing going for this hotel is the staff. They are extremely nice, outgoing, helpful, and pleasant. And this goes for all the staff...from front desk help to the cleaning people. So sorry to see it this way. We will not be back. Dona Wood
