Very friendly staff. Clean and comfortable. Great price. This was a last minute hotel room. I came in to town to see my grandson and did not book a hotel until I arrived. I went online. Reviews said excellent and I was a bit skeptical. I felt warmly welcomed by the gentlemen at the desk. So rating / reviews are accurate.
Great value. Was a little worried as to what to expect seeing that the property was of an older style. But, when checking in the lobby was very clean, front desk staff was very friendly and the property, while of an older style, was well maintain. The room was clean and had a lot of nice extra touches inside. Bed was ok, pillows so so., blankets at a minimum. But for the price: YOU CANT BEAT IT. Clean, easy parking and felt safe. Recommended!
If you are on Trip Advisor you most likely know how to navigate through good and bad reviews. This place is truly a good one. If you expect a five star hotel then you’re not following TA the way you should, but you will get a 5 star CLEAN and comfy night’s stay here for a very reasonable rate. We always travel with our dog and although he is well behaved, I realize not all dogs are (after all, they can’t possibly enjoy being cooped up in a car for hundreds of miles at a time) and because of this, our pet friendly hotels are limited. Not everyone takes the time to keep them up as well as this place does. The staff that we dealt with were both friendly and professional. Rooms were a combo of dated (but clearly well kept) and slightly remodeled. Yes, the towels are thin and small, but there was plenty of hot water, the heat and ac both work well, and once more, did I mention CLEAN? You also have a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker in the room. Wifi was great - no problems at all. We stayed en route home from FL and this place just jumped to the top of my list for my next travel trip home. Thank you again! See you in the spring 😀…
I booked this hotel based on the reviews I'd read on Trip Advisor. For only $75.00 we had a very clean, comfortable, & quiet room with 2 double beds, a good sized refrigerator, microwave, small round table for working/eating at and the cleanest and best shower we've experienced while on the road. This was our last stop on a 2 week trip up the East Coast and we stayed at very many different hotels and this was by far the best!!! One other thing, my husband left his tablet behind and we were already on the road for over 2 hours when we got the call from the manager saying we'd left it. He took it upon himself to take the tablet to the post office and mailed it to us Priority Mail. I told him to charge it on the card he had on file but he refused to do that. He said he was glad to take care of it. I can't say enough about how good we felt staying there and being the recipients of such above & beyond care!!! You will not be disappointed staying here!!!…
The reviews are correct - it’s a fantastic bargain! Yogi greeted me warmly and with a smile - he certainly was digging the Mustang I was driving - he even called me during my 3 hour drive from CLT. The room was as everyone described: clean, fridge with freezer, microwave, nice sheets and yes, the blanket is indeed as thin as Olive Oyl as are the towels but I like that they are environmentally friendly and DONT have wasteful shampoo bottles but instead they use pumps. The TV actually worked, too! Dodgers win!!! I’d rather eat my toenails than step foot into a Waffle House but there’s one right across the street, a Burger King next door, a brand new Starbucks down the street and seconds away from the 95 freeway and a Circle K with cheap gas prices I was there for 5 days and had zero complaints. Yogi even chased me insisting I enjoy a cup of coffee (I’m an iced coffee snob from LA, sorry Yogi) All for much less than those other expensive chain hotels down the block. Oh, and there are THREE Wal-Marts within driving distance If you’ve read my other reviews, I can be pretty tough - but this by far is the best 2 star hotel I’ve ever stayed in… wait… I’ve never ever set foot in a 2 star hotel (voluntarily anyway… see my Oklahoma review) but kudos to management and to Yogi (who is always there by the way. Is he a twin?) Give Yogi a raise - he has a beautiful 4 year old and I’d hire him but I live over 2,000 miles away! I will definitely be back…
