From the moment we walked in we knew this was a first class hotel convenient to the airport. Kevin and Tina were so welcoming not only to us but to all the guests checking in as we observed while warming ourselves by the nearby fireplace. Lately it seems like many of the Hampton Inns no longer offer fresh coffee late in the day. Not this one. Kevin and Tina made sure the coffee was fresh throughout the evening. The shuttle to and from the airport was quick and efficient. The fact that the hotel is newer and nicely decorated with plenty of room in the lobby to visit and enjoy the breakfast was also very much appreciated. We will be back.
Easy check in and out! Friendly professional staff, always smiling with a helpful attitude! Super clean room and inn. Always someone was cleaning! Noise free room with a lot of hot water, and a hard bed which I liked! A lot of great lighting in the parking lot with a great health department rating! A good hot breakfast! A lot shopping and places to eat around the inn! The only issue I had was smokers were around the front entrance!
Check in a breeze. Room adequate but don't like soap and shampoo dispensers. Breakfast again adequate with limited choices. Easy on and off highway. A little noisy from outside traffic. Very price effective. Overall a good stop on our way to Florida.
We stayed here one night right after the winter storm when Asheville was experiencing water problems. We were originally scheduled to stay 2 nights. We got back to the hotel late the first night to find we didn’t have any water. Got up the next morning and still no water. Went downstairs to eat and speak to someone. Matt (who I’m told was the Assistant Manager) was fielding all the questions and, somewhat, angry demands from everyone. And I have to tell you he handled it beautifully. He was feverishly working to find new rooms for people at hotels that had water. He found us a room and even worked it out so we got the same rate. He did it quickly, calmly, kindly, and with a patience I would not have had with some of the people. I would also like to commend the housekeeper on our floor (5th floor I think). I hate to say that I did not get her name. But, she was obviously not having a good day and was getting the brunt of demands from customers on our floor. She handled everything with grace and kindness. All in all, the staff handled what was truly a difficult situation with tact and grace and I would definitely stay at the Hampton Inn again if I’m in the area.…
Front desk agent saw I had two rooms and called to see if I wanted them connecting. Greeting upon arrival was warm and welcoming. Got to the room and it was clean and inviting. Breakfast was fresh and selection was good. Would stay there again next time I’m in town
I travel all the time for a living and accidentally left behind my cpap hose (yes I have sleep apnea) checked out & called inquiring about the same day long story short I was told, we can’t find it anywhere. I’m sure this was in order to keep from shipping or going to the trouble on there end. In the past when I’ve left something 99.9% of the time everyone is more than happy to help. Not this place. It all trickles down from management. I would not recommend this particular hotel to anyone. It’s ashamed usually I’ve had nothing but good results. I spent the night out 315 nights last year and have for years. Never any treatment like this. Run don’t walk from this one!!
walking distance to a nice restaurant but short drive to lots of restaurants. Great proximity to Asheville! Wonderful shuttle service to airport! Very clean and comfortable rooms! Great staff that values you as a Hilton guest!
The hotel is super conveninet and close to the airport with plenty of parking. The staff are all very nice. The room was clean, fairly well soundproofed, and looks like it has been recently remodel. Only complaint is their breakfast selection, very limited and on the two days we were there, no selection of fresh fruit of any kind. I would recommend having at least some apples bananas or oranges around.
The hotel has been recently renovated, modern, clean and up to date. We stayed in a king suite, two tv's, kitchen area with sink, microwave and mini fridge. L-shaped sofa, table and four chairs, dual air-conditioners. The rooms were spacious and well maintained. Check in was a breeze and the staff and manager were super friendly. They have a fitness room, outside pool with a jacuzzi and fire pit. Breakfast was average, they changed the menu daily. The hotel kept hand sanitizers and Lysol wipes all around. I very much welcomed this, as they truly valued us and wanted to keep everyone safe. Most places have gone downward in keeping us safe from germs and Covid. There is an ABC store and restaurant steps away from the hotel. Close few minutes drive to wide array of stores and restaurants. If I am in the area of Asheville again, this will be my go to hotel, as long as they keep up the good work and appearance of the hotel. Easy on and off room the hi-way.…
The entire staff was wonderful. Our plane arrived close to midnight when everything at the airport was closed. The hotel sent a shuttle to pick us up and then took us back to the airport the next day to pick up our car rental. The front desk stocked an assortment of items from chips and soda to small bottles of wine to accommodate guests like us who were starving! The rooms were spacious and clean, and the beds were comfortable. A small pool with crystal clear water with jacuzzi was the perfect remedy for weary travelers and a fire pit nearby was a nice touch. The breakfast was wonderful and thoughtfully laid out. As an extra note, this hotel was impeccably clean and had well-thought out Covid protocols. We were so impressed, we returned to stay here before flying out of Asheville to return home. Worth every penny!…
