We enjoyed a good night's rest and delicious breakfast with good coffee. The room was quiet. The king bed was comfortable . Everything was clean and well appointed. The shower had lots of very hot water. The only thing I would recommend is readily available drinkable water. There was some available halfway down the hall on the ice machine however so I was able to fill my water bottle. But perhaps some in the cooler with the cold drinks would be nice.

Great place and convenient to Airport. General mgr Tico seemed to handle practically everythinig.. Breakfast was quite good available. Shuttle over and back from airport was extremely helpful. Will stay again if flying from AVL to Florida and have to leave my vehicle for a few days,

Price and location to the airport were great. The room needed to be cleaner as there were dirty corners and a used wash cloth hanging from our shower curtain rod. The staff at check in/out were good to deal with.

Entire facility needs a good cleaning and painting. It's old and tired looking. We stayed here while visiting family and wanted a place with an indoor pool. The Wingate's pool was very nice and if the hot tub was working, it would have been perfect. Breakfast - not enticing and there were ants on the table. No TV streams anything. Some don't have the basic cable channels Staff was very nice tried their best.

All was clean with easy check in and out, with good breakfast, good clean room, great service. The internet worked. The indoor pool was largest we have seen in a hotel for this price, and it was well maintained.

12/27/22 - 12/27/22 Made reservation for these two nights. We checked in at 4:45PM. We were not forwarned that the hotel did not have any water. At 1:30 AM: laid down to get some sleep. at 3:00AM woke up with extreme itching around face, neck, and eyes. Went to bathroom mirror to look at the worse bite marks and rash of my life. My husband took pictures. We went to the hotel front desk. The two people working stood there dumb founded and did not try to call anyone (a manager) to look at the horrible insect bites. Then I found they told me that the two nights would not be refunded. Then I smelled the pillows...they wreaked of musty odor. We left at 6:30 AM to rush to doctor the rash was so horrible and shortness of breath. Doctor confirmed that it was an insect bite.

Great experience. Jorge checked us in, and he was very pleasant. Our room was large and very clean, as others have noted. The bed was *exceptionally* comfortable. They have bathtubs, which we value, as they’re scarce in newer hotels. Breakfast was varied and fresh - eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, waffles, fruit, yogurt and more. The hotel is very quiet and well-maintained. The pool and hot tub area is large and comfortable. Our room was on the second floor above it, and I could smell chlorine, but it was not bad at all. Absolutely perfect stay. We will be back.

An absolute PERFECT stay! If cleanliness is something you are searching for, this place is at the top of the list! Absolutely a wonderful experience! Breakfast was delicious, shower was nice & warm. The staff were absolutely accommodating. There's a pool, and a fitness center. There's an on-time shuttle for the airport. An all-around pleasure staying here, & I will definitely be back!

Hotel was very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Booked another stay for December with our friends. Although not in downtown Asheville it was only 10 minutes away and we appreciated not having the hustle around us 100% of the time. Didn’t hear a single airplane the entire 3 night stay.
