This is a complete resort. It combines a lodge with cabins and you can rent them or do a timeshare trade into some. It is supported by great staff, can handle group events and there is much to do in the resort and area. There are many hiking trails that start on the resort grounds, a lovely outdoor pool, miniature...

We were looking for somewhere to have a nice breakfast and found it here at this resort. The breakfast was until 11 am and we just made it and the waitress was so pleasant and assured us that we did not have to rush with our order. Everything was very good and we could not have been any happier. I...

Theresa, Beth, Donna, and all the other amazing happy staff on Woods Rd. Thank you girls for taking care of us during our birthday and state of emergency last minute escape. I won two nights from a hotel Christmas party last year and we finally got to use it, had to stay an extra night and didn't want to pack...

Beautiful property in the hills of western North Carolina. The people make the stay even more amazing. We had a group of 12 staying there for four nights and we all thought it was one of the nicest places we've stayed. The highlight of the trip was breakfast at the lodge every morning. The food was great southern food that...

We had a quick get away to this area unknown to us, in extreme western North Carolina, an hour south of Knoxville. This is a resort / compound with many buildings and our room was in the main lodge. Check in was quick. While luggage carts are ample at the front door, we could only use one part of the...

My husband and I came here to meet up with some friends for a mini-vacation and the place was packed with tons of car clubs/enthusiasts. There were hyundais, crossfires, and Volts Wagons everywhere. The weekend was the most crowded. There is no cell service on the premises, and the Wifi is really spotty. We stayed in a cabin, which needs...

Thank you for your review. Fontana Village Resort is a great destination to unplug from the stresses of our fast paced digital world. While all of Western North Carolina has become a popular destination for motorcycle and automobile enthusiasts, there are still many times of the year to visit to avoid the crowds. Weekends during peak leaf season are not...

Thank you for your review. The guest check was incorrect due to a technical error which has been fixed. No one was actually charged twice for their beverage as was explained at the time of service.

We enjoyed the resort amentities and overall were very happy with our stay at the Fontana Village Resort. Our dogs enjoyed the stay as well, it is a bit remote, but that is part of why we like it. There is lots to do there and it was well maintained. I do recommend this place to others.
