Great Stay! The front desk clerk was nice from the check-in, to the check-out. This location offered breakfast and even had a exercise and laundry room. The front desk guy accepted my room requested as well at check-in. 5+ location! No issues or complaints!! :)
Bugs In the room, door lock not locking missing the latch you have the audacity to charge a clean fee for a tiny stain . People smoking weed on the balcony. This hotel caters to the homeless people in the area more than the other guests . Felt very unsecured the whole time
I dont even need to complete my stay to write this review. So no breakfast due to the covid. They could at least offer boxed cereal or wrapped muffins a sack breakfast but nope nothing. The pool is closed and gross. Green with dirt in it. The ice machine dont even work. The lobby is nice must have been redone. I got to the room and it was dirty only one towel. The fridge was off and gross. The maid knocked and said she hadn't finished cleaning. So I stood outside and let her clean. She apologized and said she was the only maid here. My room looked like it has half renovated. So I think hotels/choice privileges should lower there prices being they're not offering any amenities.
I’ve stayed in numerous Quality Inns during my travels, but this one ranks at the bottom. The lighting level in the room was so low that it felt dingy. No tissues in the bathroom. Staff couldn’t refill that I guess. The blanket wouldn’t pull up around me at night. Maybe it was tucked in too far and tight, but that was a first. Room was located in the back and during the night there were a lot of “hoodies” assembled in the parking lot and next to my car. Didn’t feel comfortable with that so I moved it to the front. The breakfast was not good. Bad taste in my mouth. Paid $80 for one night which was not worth it whatsoever. Not recommended.
We were stuck in traffic around Asheville on the big weekend for leaf viewing. So we decided to cut south for the night. We lucked into the Quality Inn in Forest City as we were not willing to pay exorbitant last minute prices on highway 40. What a wonderful surprise! This hotel was Remodeled just a couple of years ago. The room and the lobby are as nice as any Hampton Inn. Everything is clean, spotless, and new. Our room has a full refrigerator and a microwave. For just $89 inclusive we have free and excellent Wi-Fi, breakfast, and a quiet, pleasant, spacious first floor room. The staff have been kind and helpful and recommended a good local restaurant for music and dinner. Highly recommended.
Booked a 2 night stay (the first 2 nights of my vacation to the USA) I left my phone charger, drinks in the fridge and my own bottles of shampoo and conditioner in the room after the first night. When I arrived back after a day of sight seeing (expecting at least a cold drink in the fridge), all of these items were gone. Reception said they would contact housekeeping, they tried making excuses but have not got back to me with an explanation or the return of the items. Surely if the housekeeper thought I had checked out she would have changed the sheets and at least put the phone charger into lost property. I am really unhappy, I have NEVER had this happen in all my years of travelling.
Well located for good access to the town and highway. Clean rooms Decent breakfast. The breakfast area was kept spotless and updated with fresh victals. We were in one of rooms at the back, the area to the back could do with a good clean and sweep. Cigarette butts everywhere. Scruffy! Also reported my fridge was not working, three times. No one was interested! This was important as it was in the mid nineties and no working ice machines
I reviewed this hotel in October saying how loud the heater-a/c unit was in the room. I should have refreshed my memory before I stayed, a/c unit kept me up all night, it sucked! I also thought I would use the pool since the temps were in the 90's, but no water in the darn thing.
Very nice, easy access, quiet, and staff was very helpful and friendly. Only issue I had was the remote for the tv, and it was promptly fixed. Restaurants close by. Nice breakfast buffet with eggs, sausage, waffle maker, coffee, juice, pastries, cereal. Will definitely stay again on next trip to area.
We travel a lot and 98% of the time we use the Choice chain. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating and we thank them for that! However, dead bugs were found in our room. The day we left, after spending 5 nights, I noticed red welts and am suspecting bed bugs.
