Please be aware that I was employed by Hilton Hotels/Hampton Inn as, alternately, A Revenue Manager, Sales Manager, and Assistant Hotel Manager. I checked in 2 hours ago (12/19/2022). It took 25 minutes for the Front Desk Associate to complete the check-in. Then she claimed the hotel has a 3 NIGHT MAXIMUM STAY, in spite of the fact that this is billed online (on multiple websites) as an extended stay facility. She proceeded to ANNOUNCE MY ROOM NUMBER as she produced my keys, in front of a random male guest who had been attempting to chat me up for the 25 minute wait to complete check in. Following this, my room keys DID NOT WORK and I was forced to cart my belongings back down to the lobby, and she failed to even offer an apology. When the second set of room keys worked and I gained entrance and attempted to lock the door, the dead bolt ("privacy lock") DOES NOT, IN FACT, LOCK. When I called to let her know, asking that someone fix it tomorrow (because by this time, obviously, I am exhausted and exasperated), AGAIN, NO APOLOGY. She possesses ZERO CARE OR CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. Just now, at approximately 11pm, when I went downstairs before going outside to smoke, I had to interrupt her very important Christmas gift conversation with her fellow employee to gain her attention, and pointed out that this IS IN FACT AN EXTENDED STAY HOTEL. She argued with me rudely even when I showed her the booking.com website where I was free to reserve a room here for 11 days for $1107. I then thanked her for speaking my room number out loud TWICE in front of random male guests, one of whom reeked of marijuana.. She then threatened me with immediate checkout because of my VERY VALID COMPLAINTS. This Associate is by far the most UNSKILLED, UNCARING, PATHETIC EXAMPLE OF A HOSPITALITY EMPLOYEE that I have ever seen or heard tell of. She is an utter disgrace to this establishment and I am literally disgusted that I have been subjected to such behavior IN EXCHANGE FOR MONEY. I respectfully request that the GENERAL MANAGER (NOT AN MOD) contact me ASAP TOMORROW (12/20/2022). Thank you

Went to the famous McAddenville city of lights, on Monday. Checked in, desk agent was friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate, TV, heating/cooling, microwave, and fridge all were clean and worked fine. The bathroom was super clean. They had a work desk with a plug-in on the table and a good office chair. Came back that night, and to our surprise, they had a bit of home: free: beefaroni, white large slices of bread, beer, water, ice tea. (they do this only in the middle of the week when business is slow. ) The breakfast was super, hot eggs and sausage, or biscuits and sausage gravy, cinnamon waffles (you cook yourself), apples, oranges, yogurt, cereals, bagels, sweet rolls, and of course good coffee. I definitely will come back when I am in the area.

Positives first: all staff were attentive and friendly. But this hotel seriously shows its age: dirty fraying carpet in halls and elevator; room carpet so outworn and nasty that I wouldn’t walk in my barefeet; worn out furniture; cold shower water. When I complained about water, I was told to try again later. That yielded more water too cool to wash my hair. Then I was told, « Last night was cold. » Outdoor temp shouldn’t affect room water temperature. The price was reasonable, but I’d pay more for a hotel that doesn’t so obviously show its age.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast offered eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, 3 kinds of cold cereal, yogurt, toast and jelly. Our bed was very comfortable. The downside was that the room total was $2 higher than on our reservation. The clerk said that the Choice hotels does not calculate the taxes correctly (which just happens to make their room more attractive.) The other problem was that the luggage cart had 2 flat tires making it very hard to use.

Pro: (1) the hotel is located conveniently to the Charlotte airport; (2) the staff was very friendly and helpful. Con: (1) the carpets throughout were worn and stained, obviously in need of replacement; (2) one of the three rooms we reserved had not had the sheets changed from the previous guests, and there were bugs in the bed. I'm a Choice Privileges member, so I've stayed at a variety of Choice hotels all across the country. This one was probably in the saddest shape of any I've stayed in. There are 3-4 other hotels in this immediate area that might be better choices.

This is one of the worst Choice properties I've stayed at in the 14 years I have been staying with them. First, upon checking into the hotel, they inform me that they will be charging me a $30.00 fee in case I smoke in the room. Mind you I have never gotten a smoking room anywhere in my life, and if I was to smoke it would be outside. This by the way is not mentioned anywhere on the app or on my reservation. Also the desk clerk copped an attitude with me, and was not apologetic. Next there is no place to put your suitcase in the room. No bag stand or permanent place anywhere in the room. The hotel grounds were dirty, as well as the common areas inside the hotel. This place is disgusting.

Stayed one night en route to pick up the kids from camp near Charlotte. As we checked in, police were in the lobby, called in apparently to help evict a guest that had been caught smoking. A group of drunk guests stumbled in .. convinced the manager to open the back patio to continue their party noisily till midnight. In the room, one of the smoke detectors had been dismantled .. and we found an empty pack of cigarettes behind the fridge. WiFi wasn’t working .. calling the Philippines-based tech support was a 30 minute exercise in futility. Wouldn’t come back if my life depended on it.

We stayed Tuesday night thru Saturday night and wouldn’t come back. The price we paid wasn’t bad but I’d rather pay more for a better hotel. You can tell the hotel is old and in need of repairs. We only got maid service 1 time the whole time and than on the last day they tell us we have to request it because they have too many check outs to clean our room if we stay for multiple nights. You would think since we paid to stay here for 5 nights that they would at least come give new towels and take out the trash because the only leave you with 2 tiny trash cans. Dogs barking throughout the night, rooms with a bunch of people in it that you can hear all the way down the hallway, and 1 elevator wasn’t working.

Check in was good and easy check out. Breakfast was very good and great tasting coffee. Our room was nice and king bed was very comfortable. The carpets need to be replaced. They are very worn. Over all, our stay was nice.

We went to stay here and redeem a free night. Outside sign reads “ commitment to clean! ” well, that couldn’t be farther from the truth! Not only is the room in bad disrepair but is clearly not being cleaned. After finding layers of dust on the light, clock radio, floors, etc. Stains on the bedding. A big piece of sausage off a pizza on the floor. A bathtub thats rusted through. We left and refused to stay. It’s pretty bad when we won’t stay there for free. Front desk “Adam” not interested in our concerns and pictures.
