This was my 2nd visit to the HGI and I would visit it again. It’s clean, quite atmosphere and the staff was very helpful. This location is close to travel my family residence and back to my hotel. I look forward to returning in the near future.

I was surprised with how this hotel operated. There were stickers on the door letting u know no one was in the room after it was cleaned. The tv remote was wrapped letting u know it was cleaned. The over hotel is A+. Walking less than a foot ball field alway to 4 nice restaurant and walk-in distance to more and when u get back to hotel u can hit up the hotel bar. Awesome hotel!!!!!

Pool heater is broken so no swimming, and laundry service is out of order. When I mentioned at check out the only reason I booked here was to swim, the check out gal offered nothing but lame excuses. She said I should have been told when I checked in but at that point I’m already there. It’s too late to go find somewhere else to stay.

Would have been nice if breakfast was included but it is very convienent to everything if you don't want the buffet. Staff was very nice and we were able to wash grandson's soccer clothes prior to his second game

Multiple vehicles had smashed windows and one vehicle was stolen from the hotel parking lot. The eggs were horrible. I set HVAC temp at 69. It wouldn’t kick in until 72 and off at 67. Water pressure very low.

I stayed here for a week while in a class. The hotel is nice and staff is very friendly. The beer is really expensive...lol. The only issue I really had was that the 5th floor ice machine wasn't working. There are lots of restaurants very close by as well as a CVS, target etc. It was a good stay. This isn't the hotels fault but the homeless are rampant in Gastonia so make sure you don't leave valuables in the cars. The local PD said car break ins can be an issue. Oh and at like 330-4pm they put out free chocolate chip cookies in the lobby that are amazing.

Nice property. Clean, well thought out, everything worked as expected including the AC and internet. The staff was super friendly with a shout out to Ms. Mariah at the front desk for her dining recommendation of Webb Custom. Location is great for easy on and off the interstate, unfortunately the rooms on that side (mine was) hear the road noise. Nice parking area which is well lit. I will stay here again when back in town.

The room was very clean. Coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator were all very clean. The shower was excellent, with good water pressure. The breakfast was superb. They had a buffet style of basic breakfast cuisine, and also had made to order items like omelettes, pancakes, and French toast.

Beware! Seven cars awoke to broken windows in the parking lot on Saturday morning from overnight break ins. Police reported this is a common problem in the area. I would recommend finding a different location to stay.

The rooms were very clean. They failed to mention online and in person at check in that the pool was not available. It wasn’t until I inquired that I found out. Also, they do offer breakfast but the selection is limited and the only meat they offered was pork bacon.
