Anna the lady that checked me in she was super nice she made my visit feel like I was at home I will be booking here again thank you Anna for a lovely visits I hope next time I book I have you to book with
one of the worst hotels I have ever checked into. I arrived after booking with Expedia, got key to the room and door was open several inches, when going in room was dirty and did not look like it had been made up. I attempted to close the door behind me and it would not shut, didn't even line up with the door jam, no way to even close it. I went back to front desk and was told there were no other rooms. I asked for a refund and the agent Armonie was rude and unhelpful and just said she can't do anything and I have to go back to Expedia. I asked for a note explaining the room situation and she gave me first a typed note without her name or date of the issue, so I asked for something with her name and managers name and date on it. I have attempted for over a week to get expedia to refund it, they said they eventually got a hold of the front desk, they DO NOT answer the phone! They were told that the front desk advised them they knew the door was broken and didn't have a room but denied giving me a refund...really?? I contacted the manager Kimberly Vaivao and explained what happened, her response was they have rented that room twice since my attempted stay and she hasn't seen any maintenance reports for that room. Never called me back either! Great customer service! Why in the heck would I make this up and have to go to another hotel that same evening and spend more money? Oh and I have the note with her name and receptionist name stating exactly that the door wouldn't close and they had no other rooms!! This place is a total joke and should be shut down and given some serious customer training! I sure hope families don't attempt to stay at this place because it appears there are some really shady people who hang around the place too!…
In short - we had a reservation for 1 night with a late check in - after a 14 hour drive we were told there was no reservation & we could not check in - I had the confirmation printed out and this messy slob wouldn't even look at - he turned us away in the middle of the night and we had NO place to stay but in our pick up - AFTER DRIVING FOR 14 HOURS!!!!!! Then they had the nerve to charge us for rooms we NEVER even got to see!!!!!
First time staying on a last minute trip. While less than a mile off I-85 you have to take a couple of secondary roads to get to the hotel that has no street signage and is located in a business park area. On the positive side, staff was very friendly and the room and facility was very clean and well taken care of. On the negative side, the room is spartan (no hairdryer) and the bed had no cushioning/pillowing on top so it felt like sleeping on a box springs with a little bit of flexibility. While mine was just a one night stay and the kitchenette is more for an extended stay, there are no dishes, pots/pans or utensils provided, but you can purchase them from the front desk that has limited hours. You have to navigate deeper on the hotel website to see these conditions of in-room cooking.…
I have stayed at woodspring suites a few times and every time I stay there it's quite and the staff are very friendly. The prices are decent since they do have the kitchenettes. The room is always clean. It's my go to when I'm in Gastonia.
Stayed at this location for a week and I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms are freshly remodeled and the hotel staff were always friendly and always there to help my family and I. I will most definitely stay at this location again.
We were told one thing by the night manager and another by the maid service in ref to check out time. We were told by the night manager that check out for Sunday was 1 pm We were not satisfied with the room at all .
Our stay here at Woodspring Suites, (Charlotte-Gastonia) has been more than Comfortable. The staff members are kind, patient and very understanding. My rated #1 choice for Nightly & Extended Stay! ! !
Our stay at woodsprings suites was beyond satisfying. The receptionist where all so polite, friendly kept a smile on their fave no matter what kind of a day they had.. I will recommend this hotel to everyone I know when they need a place to stay. Thanks to you all.
I stayed there a week. The first night my door wouldn't shut. Promises to have it fixed the next day and never did. Wifi never worked for more than a couple hours. When you ask the staff about the wifi they tell you to call tech support. Spent hours on call with tech support just to be told "there's really nothing we can do." Dont come here. I gave it 1 star because 0 isn't an option.
