Stayed here for a over night stay 19th- 20th September for the Harrogate Show. Really friendly staff. Our check in was prefect we arrived slightly early but our room was ready. We couldn't have a evening meal has there was a birthday party in the restaurant so we went in to Knarsbourgh which wasn't a problum for us.Would like to...

Have just returned from an overnight stay at The Bay Horse following a wedding at Goldsbourough Hall. Our check in was perfect with very helpful staff. Drinks in the bar after the reception were pleasantly served in a very pleasant and atmospheric bar. Our room in the annex was very pleasing with comfy bed, nice room decor, lovely hot shower...

As part of a coach party to Ripon Races we stopped here for a late breakfast. Catering for over 50 people with a sitdown full English breakfast cannot be easy but the food was all nice quality, well cooked & hot. The loveliest thing about this pub is the garden which is absolutely delightful & kept immaculately - without exception...

We stopped off at The Bay Horse as we got stuck in GYS traffic and didn't want to be.. We were warmly welcomed into an incredibly clean and friendly pub. We ordered from a small but comprehensive menu and there was a nice selection of specials. Food was served quickly and was lovely. The only comment is that's one dressing...

I went here with a group of 33 ladies from the Townswomens Guild for our annual lunch. Everyone was very attentive and the food which we had pre ordered was very nice. I had chicken and it was a large portion and very tasty. The beef I was told was also a good portion and very nice. The lemon meringue...

After a lovely but cold day at knaresborough we stumbled across a road sign for this place. It was very quite and cosy with a lovely open fire. Our two daughters were welcomed by the very friendly lady serving and taking orders. We had 2 panninis, a child's fish and chips and a prawn salad. All our food was very...

We recently had our little boys christening reception held here, we arrived at the venue just later than expected greeted by lovely bar staff who quickly served our 80 thirsty guests, we planned to have a buffet and a buffet is certainly what we got a large variety of food and also took into consideration we had children in our...

We stopped into the bay horse hungry and in need of food after missing breakfast, it was around 1pm and we were the only customers with the exception of one other family, initially thought we'd found a lovely country pub, clean and traditional. My partner ordered an expensive rib eye steak cooked rare, it arrived extremely well done as was...

We are very sorry that you were "too polite" when you visited us on Sunday lunch time and did not say you weren't happy with your food at the time or even when you paid your bill. First of all I would like to point out that from where you were sat in our lower bar area you were unable...

On a business trip I decided to call into the Bay Horse in Goldsborough as I had a good experience here previously. I opted for a lasagne and a pint of the local Bitter. Very well cooked lasagne, a great pint and top value. I like the feel of this place, its cosy but welcoming, as a traditional British Inn...

It's quite a while since I last visited The Bay Horse but nothing seems to have changed too radically. It was just after opening time (mid-day) and we appeared to be the only customers. We only wanted a snack ordered a couple of sandwiches. Lovely welcome by the landlady who was courteous and service with a smile. Can't fault the...
