We have stayed there several times and I can't think of a better place to escape from the noise of the world. I've always felt that going to Glade Valley was like visiting your favorite family members. After being greeted by the sweet Hunter (their dog) at your car, Jim and Margaret invite you into their lovely home with a...

My wife and I stayed at the Glade Valley Bed & Breakfast during our trip along the Blue Ridge Parkway in October 2016. Let me just say that if your in the area, make it a point to stay here. Jim and Margaret are exceptional hosts. Their log home is wonderfully designed. We stayed in the Yosemite room. No complaints....

Jim and Margaret Connor are ideal B&B hosts. After brief research on Trip Advisor, we were delighted to find this charming property very close to where we were going to attend a funeral. It was all set up within minutes, including confirmation emails and directions. It is a rustic and cozy spot within minutes of the Blue Ridge Parkway. The...

My husband and I stayed at the Glade Valley B&B just in the peak of the Fall Foliage Season. The drive to Glade Valley was amazing with majestic Fall scenery of trees, bright foliage, mountain views and quaint farms. When we approached Glade Valley B&B we felt the stillness and peaceful setting of nature, but the grand log home welcomed...

A friend recently got married at another B&B near Glade Valley and we were looking for a place to spend the night after attending the wedding and reception. We found the Glade Valley B&B and were we glad we did. This beautiful log home is in a lovely setting and is owned by Jim and Margaret. They were both so...

Glade Valley B&B is just off NC21 and the Blue Ridge Parkway - easy to get to. So many things so close: Stone Mountain, Doughton Park. The facility is new with the best amenities (the owners have thought of everything) and yet has an old, authentically mountain, feel. The food was healthy, nutritious, delicious, served lovingly by the owners who...

Welcomed with a sign and a friendly dog to a huge log lodge. There was homemade lemonade and cookies waiting on us. I had a beautiful walk and we were able to watch how Margaret made her famous homemade cinnamon rolls. What a treat in every way. It was very clean, comfortable and homey. I highly recommend a visit to...

I read about this B&B in Our State Magazine (October issue) and knew I wanted to come for the amazing views and the mountain breakfast. This place is beautiful! Jim and Margaret (Inn Keepers) are very friendly and knowledgeable about nearby Sparta. The Mauna Lau room is very nice, beautifully decorated with handmade quilts and very comfortable. We had the...

This is simply one of the best Bed and breakfast experiences we have ever had. From the day we made our reservation, our hosts kept in touch at key times. When we arrived, Jim came outside to greet us. There were cookies and lemonade waiting for us inside. The inn is absolutely gorgeous. Our room was very comfortable and we...

My wife and I stayed here for one night (Saturday night). Jim and Margaret are both wonderful. They truly make you feel at home. Jim booked dinner reservations for us at his Olde Beau Country Club. Very nice!! Plus the breakfast was fabulous. We will definitely be going back.
