What a pleasure it was to stay in such a lovely room ... very spacious, comfortable bed, decorated with style. Great bathroom. The breakfast was delicious. Having our luggage carried upstairs was much appreciated (we're 77 and 80 and don't do stairs too well). We wish the owners all the best in their next adventure.

The owners are very welcoming and thoughtful we didn't have time to have their outstanding breakfast so she packed us a to go breakfast full of goodies! The banana bread was to die for! Very close to a variety of places and only 30 minutes to Asheville!

Our room was extra comfortable. The coffee pot was close. Breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommend it. WiFi and movies are available. My friends and I had a great time. The owners offered recommendations, maps and directions for anything we had in mind.

The hotel was located 15 minutes off the I40 Highway in Glen Alpine, a small lovely town in North Carolina. It was a luxury vintage B&B hotel with 4 well decorated accommodation rooms. It was renovated from a house of railroad officers who worked at Glen Alpine Station in the old days. It was well and neatly looked after. The couple who owned and did all the services was very informative and friendly.
