I was looking for a long weekend away from home but didn't want to drive too far after leaving working on Thursday evening. I found listings for Plum Tree Gardens in Goldsboro. Actually the B&B was completely booked and I stayed in a two room suite, one of two overflow rooms, in the owners' home across the street. I was...

The hosts are warm, welcoming and interesting. Both are artists, and their spacious home is their work of art, literally. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean, with a lovely arrangement of fresh flowers in each. There is no shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, etc . in the bathroom - only soap and plenty of towels are provided however. Breakfast? That's what what...

My husband son, and I felt like part of the family, instead of guests. The host and hostess went way beyond the call of duty in accomodating us. Firstly, the B&B is beautiful and has been lovingly and creatively restored. Both the host and the hostess are artists and it was obvious in their approach to evertyhing including the colorful...
