From the moment we stepped into the inn we correctly surmised this was going to be a good experience. The ambiance and the owners, Marti and Stormy, were friendly and welcoming. We were given The Baby Ruth Room, named for Cleveland's daughter. This room had...More
As anyone that reads my reviews knows, I don't give many excellent reviews, but "The Inn of the Patriots" certainly deserves one. We booked one night there to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary yesterday (9/5). We also booked the cooking class. The inn is run...More
We found a treasure! What a welcoming and comfortable B&B, with the added bonuses of much history and fabulous breakfast. Thanks to Laura for her great cooking, hospitality and taking care of us. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. Our room was...More
This was such a beautiful place, full of so many historical emblematics and lovely decorated rooms. Marti, Stormy were very hospitable and Kim was so helpful to everyone. The breakfast was great as was the tour afterwards. I wish we could have stayed longer.
We went for our anniversary and are so happy we did. The room was charming and comfortable. The food was out of this world. And we really enjoyed the tour and funny history given by the owner. Yes the bathrooms are small but we loved...More

I would expect nothing less from Chef Marti. HE's a gracious and engaging host who shows great care and concern for his guests and for the reputation of his inn. It's unfortunate that there are a very few reviewers that seem bent on being overly critical. I'm thankful for the great majority of reviewers that found this B&B to be exactly what it is, a charming, well-run place to stay that also manages to provide a tremendous value for the money and time spent. We are seasoned travelers and capable of recognizing the good guys form the marginal ones. Chef Marti and his staff are not only good guys, they're GREAT!
