Last minute overnight surf trip from NOVA with my son before he headed off to college and picked based solely on price and reviews. From booking to checkout, I was reminded how cynical I've become. Other than a lost summer in '88 in Kill Devil Hills and family vacations in/around northern OBX since, you forget what it's like to leave...

Upon entering the lobby of this fine old inn you will see images of it as the former Atlantic View Hotel. The innkeepers, Tracey and Chris, are painstakingly upgrading the rooms where traveling salesman and sportsman once stayed coming to the tip of the Outer Banks and the islands of Hatteras, Ocracoke and Portsmouth (now abandoned). We stayed a full...

The Seaside Inn was a great place to hang up our gear and feel at home in the Outer Banks. The place was immaculately clean and well organized. The owners were very kind and helpful. They have done a great job in making this B&B into a place where visitors feel very comfortable The location was at the end of...

We stayed at the Seaside Inn in early July on our way to D.C. Because we were only staying one night, we choose this Inn strictly on the strength of the reviews on this site. Tracey and Chris made us feel welcome even though we were only staying one night. Our room was comfortable and very clean. The muffins at...

Great place. Very clean. Relaxed atmoshere. Wish we could have stayed longer. The owner, Chris, could not have been more welcoming or more accomodating. I wish all of the lodging on our trip had been as pleasant as the Seaside Inn. The cost was half of what we paid in Va. Beach and not at all comparable. Thanks again, Chris....

We stayed at the Seaside Inn for a full week in August, and it was a great vacation. The owners, Tracy and Chris, were really friendly, helpful and accommodating. Their sons and a granddaughter were all there for the summer and gave the Inn a family-run feel. We were able to come and go as we pleased, but it had...

Tracey and Chris made our first trip to the OBX very relaxing, which is exactly what we were looking for. We had a late arrival, but Chris greeted us and got us into our room. It's a cool historic building that has a great feel to it. Our room was quite nice with a king-sized bed, kitchenette (great for late-night...

We love it there. The room was spacious for a family of 6. The innkeepers were very hospitable and friendly. The room rate was on the budget. Like what the other guests said before me.... the muffins were delicious. We would love to come back there again.

We loved our stay at this wonderful historic spot! The innkeepers were delightful, the food really good, and the Inn so charming. To top it all off, it's only a 5 minute walk to the gorgeous beach! We will be back someday.
