Went to Hendersonville NC to get away for the weekend. Booked at The Charleston Inn, a historic inn that is now a bed and breakfast as previous write ups indicated it was as good place. It wasn't - it was GREAT! Met by friendly staff who want to make your stay enjoyable. Don't miss 4pm! Wine, cheese and crackers are...

We were in Hendersonville for the funeral of a close friend. This location was perfect; the church is directly across the street. We arrived late afternoon and the reception was warm and welcoming. Happy Hour had started and we enjoyed good cheer and appetizers on the upstairs porch, which was just perfect for the two of us. We were joined...

We stayed in July 2016, and had a wonderful time. The location is great. It's on Main St, but you're far enough away from everything to enjoy some down time. You're close enough to walk to all the shops and restaurants, though. The Inn provides free non-alcoholic drinks at all times and free wine/sangria, cheese and crackers from 4-6 everyday....

I can't say enough good things about this place other than its perfect. My wife and I went on a weekend trip to Hendersonville and asheville and this place is a great choice. Within walking distance of shops and restaurants in Hendersonville and a short car ride to Biltmore, asheville, and the nearby vineyards. The staff was so great that...

I rented a room at this bed and breakfast last minute via Hotels.com. The inn itself, was super quaint and clean. Any person with walking issues needs to consider the stairs when staying here. The issue I had was with how staff handled our reservation. When my party and I arrived, we were informed that the policy was only 2...

Lovely inn. Staff was attentive. Lots of sweet perks! Bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast and dinner on the deck was both delicious and a great atmosphere. It was a great location too--we could walk the downtown area easily. Would highly recommend it.

We stayed here for one night, only because it was sold out for other nights, and had a wonderful visit!. What a beautiful house under old, beautiful oaks. It is a very comfortable and convenient location. Rocking on the wraparound porch was so relaxing. The staff there feels like family when you have been there only a short while! Everyone...

The Charleston Inn is in a great location for visiting Hendersonville. You are only a short walk from downtown. Unfortunately it is also close to a fire station so you may hear sirens during the night. The inn was clean with spacious rooms. The room was hot and the air conditioner only did an adequate job in keeping the room...

Thank you for your review. We will defiantly look into the air conditioner issue. You are right, we are in the heart of downtown, which is why you occasionally hear the sirens of the city. Breakfast is wonderful and that is the same chef who does lunch and dinner at The Lantern!

The rooms are really nice and beds are very comfortable. The free breakfast is really good and we ate dinner at The Lantern every night. It was phenomenal. They even made a chicken special just for us one night because we asked. To top it off the staff is super friendly.
