The outside was they only clean area that I came across. The night desk attendant was not at post and took over 5 mins to get to the office. Dirty walls, floors, microwave inside and out, t.v, lamp bases dusty, parts missing for the coffee maker and to top it off no working shower! I have had various bad experiences with days inn over the past several years and this is the last straw, days inn will not even be a choice of stay ever again.
No breakfast right now because there's no access to the lobby due to renovations. This should be better at some point. Another guest indicated his heat didn't work and he couldn't get in touch with the office because no one answered the phone. Hopefully these are temporary issues.
The room was surprisingly nice, it had a newer feel, decorated nicely, it was clean and smelled fresh no disgusting airfreshner smell, no odors. Bed was very comfortable. I slept well It was a good experience I would stay here again.
The place was dirty. Bread crumbs in the air conditioner, snot on the wall, dirty sheets, no breakfast or manager and it looked like someone tried to bust in the room a few times. Not good at all. I wanted my money back and to leave but all we got is a little cleaner room with mold and cobwebs. I expect more from a Days Inn.
Two other adults and I took 20 high school students on a field trip to the Flat Rock Playhouse to watch a musical as well as explore some of Flat Rock. Being a popular time of season, we had a hard time finding a place to stay, but ended up at the Days Inn of Hendersonville. We called ahead to secure room rates, agreed on them, then booked 8 rooms with confirmation numbers. We got to the motel around 4:30 pm to check in to be treated by a closed lobby and 2 teenage girls working behind a glass window. Upon check in, she informed of us the rate, which was higher than what our confirmation stated, and told us that we would have to wait because they didn’t have rooms ready. We asked to speak to the manager and she then called someone on her cell phone and passed it to us - it was her manager. The manager was extremely rude, not only to us, but to the girl working the desk. She was yelling over the phone, arguing with boy us and the worker about the rate of the rooms and what we had booked. By this time, two other guests had entered the small “lobby” space to check in. After going back and forth, with what felt like forever, with the manager, we finally got keys to 8 rooms - most of which were king beds but we had 3-4 kids in a room together. At no time was an adult ever present on the premises to assist any guests. The manager, who only would speak to us via cell phone was the rudest manager I had ever encountered. I felt so sorry for the two young girls working and advised them as a parent and teacher to find employment elsewhere that it was NOT ok for someone to treat and talk to them the way this manager did. Not only was dealing with this beyond disappointing and unacceptable, there was no breakfast, as advertised, and the rooms were not properly maintained. I took pictures of the room I stayed in and know that this is not just what one room looked like. When we tried to check out this morning, no one was in the lobby and the door was locked with the lights out. Other guests were trying to check out as well without information on how to do so. I have never stayed anywhere like this before and will NEVER stay in one of your hotels again.…
Can't begin to explain the problems with this hotel. If I had read the ratings before stopping, I would not have. Type of motel where complaints are part of the business, ignored, and same thing happens again. They get paid to listen to complaints. From previous ratings it looks like Wyndham could care less. I concluded my room was the room they took parts from to fix other rooms.
The motel is being renovated and lacked much. No towels. Went to the office and was told that the towels were being washed at that time. They would deliver them to the room. 3 hours later and no towels, my husband called the office and they told him he had to go to the office to get them. Plus there would be no free breakfast. With not much sleep due to the ac and no breakfast, we were not in the best mood to immediately review this room. After this being our 2nd BAD experience with a Days Inn within 1 week, we will no longer stay at any Days Inn.
This place is horrible. Dirty!!! Broken furniture. Hole in bathtub. Tub faucet is about to fall off and you cannot regulate the water at all. Lucky to get enough pressure to take a shower. No lamp shade on nightstand lamp. Extra door lock was broken. Asked for non-smoking room and this room reeked of cigarette smoke. Advertised continental breakfast but were told when we checked in there was not. We would have left and gone somewhere else but everything was booked up due to the Apple Festival. Never again! Should be closed down. The Wyndham endorsement should be ashamed.
This hotel is located very close to a main road, which makes for a loud stay. There was also a ton of dust on the couch and desk, as well as a sticky floor. 0/10 Would not recommend. The staff was relatively nice, but the owner seems to run the show being in the phone with staff at all times.
Bait-and-switch. Hotel refused to provide breakfast. Hotel advertises free breakfast and was part of my paid reservation. When I complained and ask to speak to Hotel manager, Hotel manager became unavailable. When I called back a few days later for an update they hang up on me. Terrible service.
