Echo Mountain Inn is a charming country inn located about 3 miles from historic Hendersonville, North Carolina and about 25 miles south of Asheville, NC. The Inn is nestled away on a mountain in Laurel Park, with over 25 individually decorated rooms and a great variety of beds, arrangements, and charm. We’ve (my fiancée and I) stayed at the Echo Mountain Inn several times and each time is just as wonderful as the last stay. The owners have poured a lot of love, work, and resources into upgrades throughout the property and you can really tell the difference. The new fire pit, koi pond/fountain, and gazebo areas are such great additions to an already wonderful place. Though we’ve stayed here multiple times a year for many years, this is the first time we used the swimming pool and it was great too. Very clean and orderly but also comfortable like you were at your own home in the pool in your backyard. We have only been here as a couple for romantic getaways to area vineyards and it tops our lists for that type of trip. It is suitable and comfortable for families too. You can tell the owners sincerely care about providing a great hospitality experience for their guests. They are genuinely good people who work very hard to deliver a great experience to each guest and they are successful in that delivery. The restaurant is consistently good which makes a great deal of difference when you don’t have to go off premises for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner. To me, the accommodations are what really makes this place so special. Each room is purposefully designed/decorated with a home away from home comfort level. We have stayed in almost every room in the main inn over our various stays and have enjoyed each stay almost equally (though we do have our favorites.) The Inn literally is one of our most favorite destinations and it is the only place we choose to stay when in the Hendersonville area. I cannot say enough great things about Echo Mountain Inn. To the Bonnemas (the owners), thank you for all of your hard work in creating such a fabulous place to visit in the mountains. We hope to come back very soon!

Property's Favourite Review
Friends told of about this B & B, and that it was wonderful. We decided to try it, and stayed in one of the rooms in the old portion of the inn. for two nights. It is quaint, but has all appropriate amenities, including good WiFi, but it is really a place for disconnecting from instant communication; a place to relax and unwind. It is well maintained, with excellent home-made breakfasts (the blueberry french toast was really delicious). The common lounge is stocked with books to read, games to play, binoculars to watch birds and wildlife, and information about the general area. The hosts are gracious, and it is owned and run by a multi-generational family. We enjoyed borrowing the scrabble game, sitting on the porch playing and sipping wine as the sun slowly set one evening; something we hadn't done in quite some time. There are many good restaurants down the mountain in Hendersonville, and many interesting shops to browse as well. We will return another tie for a longer stay.

My wife and I had such a wonderful time here last weekend. The owners are very nice and helpful. Also, our dinner experience at the restaurant on Friday night was exceptional. Our room was in the annex. Parking was convenient and the room itself was really comfortable and spacious. We slept well and we ate well. Can’t get much better than that. We will definitely be coming back, soon.
