I read many Trip Advisor reviews before booking our 44th Anniversary at Fire Mountain B&B and decided no place could be this good. It was even better than anyone said. If there were 6 circles to rate Mathew and Hiram, they would receive it. No detail was too small for these two hosts. My wife were in the hospitality business...

As I told Hiram and Mathew (the Innkeepers) just before my fiancee I left Fire Mountain, "You have created a very special place!". I'm sure this is something that they hear often, but is truly the case. We spent three nights in the Laurel Tree-house Unit. The views from the wraparound porch were awesome. The hammock was a great touch...

Living in the humid Atlanta area, I have not slept with the windows open for many months. One of the many wonderful parts of staying at the Fire Mountain Inn was listening to the symphony of crickets and tree frogs with an occasional hoot owl joining in. The inn is truly an oasis, away from the interruptions of daily life....

My husband and I stayed at the Fire Mountain Inn for 3 nights. We were in town for a wedding. From the moment we arrived on the property, we could just tell that this vacation was going to enrich our lives for years to come. We checked in with Hiram and Matthew, who gave us a tour of the property...

Well, we love Fire Mountain Inn. What a great discovery--close to so many beautiful attractions yet elevated from the bustle of town. Hiram and Matthew are kind, intelligent, attentive hosts who have lovingly spent 20 years creating a sanctuary of respite and healing energy. I booked a Sun to Wed stay, not knowing that dinner is Wed thru Sat. Based...

We spent our 25th wedding anniversary in the Laurel Treehouse. It was so peaceful and relaxing. I enjoyed napping in the hammock overlooking the distant mountains. The sunrise breakfast was tasty and I like the 9:30 time, not being too early. We got helpful suggestions on nearby areas to explore. Sign up for the sunset dinner one night..the flavors were...

Enjoyed a birthday weekend with girlfriends. Our room was clean and comfortable. Every need was pre-thought and accommodated. We looked out our sliding glass doors to the herb garden and watched the sun come up over the mountain. Breakfast was scrumptious! The flavors were a party in the mouth! So tasty and plentiful. Homemade biscuits were delish! All the while...

We stayed 4 nights at Fire Mountain Inn in what I admit is the most inexpensive room. The view and grounds are indeed amazing; the room was super-clean and decorated in a calming, artistic way. The breakfasts were out-of-this-world delicious (although the 9:30 serving time was strange and inconvenient and the portions would seem small to many American diners.) The...

Mathew and Hiram made this experience pleasurable. We were greeted by our names and made to feel at home. The breakfast, picnic, and dinner were exquisite. They thought of every detail to make our stay perfect. The views offered relaxation beyond imagination.

Everything about our stay at Fire Mountain was incredible. Our room had a gorgeous view of the mountains, and a perfect balcony to drink coffee on in the mornings before breakfast was served. Matthew does a phenomenal job preparing the meals daily. Be sure to make dinner reservations at least once! The property is gorgeous, with lots of wildlife, and...
