Great place to stay. Beach access just across the street. Great places to eat very near by. Relaxation was the goal. So for just a place to sleep, it was great. Little weird way to check in. You have to call the phone # to check in. No front desk but that was fine after getting use to it.

We tend to look for an economy place to stay to extend our stay. Found this place through Expedia. There were four of us staying together. We were able to get a two bedroom efficiency for $135 a night. With tax it was just over $300 for the two nights. The place was right across the street from the beach.... More

My room was very small. The bathroom was tiny, especially the shower. That being said this room served my purposes well. One person who just needed a place to crash for a few nights. It would have been tight for much more than one person or a family.

I was surprised that our motel room was actually pretty clean, larger than it looked in the pictures, and felt cozy. Even though it is very bare, the love seat in the living room is wooden framed and super uncomfortable but it's a motel. Its usually for weekend trips like ours was. It did my family of three justice (we... More

Clean, quaint, centrally located, affordable and very helpful staff.. Great place for a quick weekend or vacation! Highly recommend to anyone. Couples to families. Across the street from the beach. Shopping and restaurants all around.

Recently I visited the outbanks to go on a tuna fishing charter. I reviewed the TripAdvisor reviews prior to departing. I should have listened to the advice clearly presented. To make a long story short, the place is about the size of storage shed. The bed was a full size bed. You can barely walk around the bed due to... More

My husband and I decided to take a long weekend trip to the Outer Banks in NC. We had never been here before. I did not book a hotel before we left thinking it would not be crowded after Labor day, well I was wrong. We get there and almost every hotel or motel was booked up. This motel was... More

Keep in mind you are booking a motel not a hotel. There is no WIFI and no breakfast served. Considering this is a motel it is for the most part clean and comfortable. It is right across the street from the ocean. They are part of Day's Inn so you are allowed to use the Days Inn pool which is... More

My husband I took a day trip to the Outer Banks and we happened to find this quaint little gem during the Labor Day Weekend. This is a small little motel with no thrills BUT, it is very clean and quiet. It is about 2 blockes from an excellent resturant called Jolly Roger. You are right across the street from... More

This place carried me back to the mom and pop places I used to go to with my parents long before the larger chain hotels were around...at least in most places outside of major cities. It is just a very basic room to sleep in. This was a last minute trip for a day and I couldn't find anything else.... More
