Heading home tomorrow after a week at the Outer Banks Beach Club, great stay.
We've rented in the Outer Banks for better than 20 years, this was definetly one of our greatest experiences. We won our week in a raffle to support an animal rescue...More
We stayed in a 2BR 2BA unit (5D) which was close to the elevator, on the 2nd floor overlooking the pool. Room was quite spacious, new, and clean. Frequently saw staff cleaning the elevator, pool restrooms, etc. Emptied and cleaned the hot tub often. Free...More

We stayed in a one bedroom on the first floor, facing the pool. The unit itself was clean with everything we needed, including a full kitchen and free wifi, but there is a decided lack of privacy, as people are walking past your unit, and...More
Clean and reliable accommodations on the beach. We stay here annually and rely on it being the same quality each time. Very attentive staff. 3 pools, kids play area, full kitchens in the units. Close to attractions, shopping and restaurants.

Walking on the beach is very nice during the fall months. The condos are located right on the beach and there are steps leading right onto the beach. There are stores to shop, movies to go to and lots of eatery places to dine or take out and relax back at the condo. The indoor pool is lovely as well. Enjoy your fall stay!

There are high dunes between the buildings and the beach. Consequently, you have to go over them. You can get to the walkway over the dunes via elevator; the walkway also goes to a small pavilion from which you can view the beach. But to get onto the beach itself you have to go down the stairs from the dune (maybe 8), unfortunately.
There is a public beach access between OBBC complexes I and II; maybe there is direct access there; I don't know.
Other than the beach itself, all units now have elevator access. If you get a third floor oceanfront 3 BR unit, or a 2nd or 3rd floor oceanfront 2 BR unit, you have a superb view from the unit's deck, if that's any consolation. It really is a very nice complex, and the 3 BRs are extremely spacious.
