The condo was spacious and beautiful. Ocean view was magnificent. People from condo very helpful and courteous. Great time with our family and would recommend this condo to anyone who would want to go to the outer Banks of North Carolina

We spent a week in January at the Outer Banks Beach Club. Wintry weather at the beach isn't everyone's cup of tea. Advantages include the lack of crowds, traffic and mosquitoes. Disadvantages include cold weather, closed businesses and shorter days.

I brought my son to the Outer Banks for the second time (first time Thanksgiving weekend 2015) so we could visit the Fort Raleigh National Historic Site for the first time, and make another visit to the Wright Bros. Monument. As before, our experience here...More

Off season shouldn't mean off-kilter. This place doesn't have W/Ds in their units...so being on the beach means you constantly have to be at the laundromat. Oh, kind of them to have them on the property, but they aren't free to guests. Towels (including pool)...More

Walking on the beach is very nice during the fall months. The condos are located right on the beach and there are steps leading right onto the beach. There are stores to shop, movies to go to and lots of eatery places to dine or take out and relax back at the condo. The indoor pool is lovely as well. Enjoy your fall stay!

There are high dunes between the buildings and the beach. Consequently, you have to go over them. You can get to the walkway over the dunes via elevator; the walkway also goes to a small pavilion from which you can view the beach. But to get onto the beach itself you have to go down the stairs from the dune (maybe 8), unfortunately.
There is a public beach access between OBBC complexes I and II; maybe there is direct access there; I don't know.
Other than the beach itself, all units now have elevator access. If you get a third floor oceanfront 3 BR unit, or a 2nd or 3rd floor oceanfront 2 BR unit, you have a superb view from the unit's deck, if that's any consolation. It really is a very nice complex, and the 3 BRs are extremely spacious.
