pool is very small and crowded and very few recreation activities. Beach itself is pleasant. Rooms are clean and seem to be updated with newer furnishings. Good for the family but don't expect a lot of activities for the kids.

This is the second time we have stayed here and have enjoyed it both times. We had a one and one on the beach, we could not see the water because of the dunes but you could hear it and the beach was only a two minute walk away. They also have three bedroom units. If you do not want...

First, this property is not a "resort' with sprawling property and great beauty. It's a comfortable home base for your time at the beach. There are three sections with the office being across the street from the "pod village" that we stayed in. I'm guessing the circular buildings with a pointy roof are the 1 bedrooms and the traditional style...

It's a time-share community that also rents units by the night or week. Units are clean and on the water. Ocean views from many of the units. Multiple pools, one indoors. Close to restaurants and the Wright Brothers National Memorial.

My family and I have often rented "cottages" in the area in the past but have discovered that the OBBC is a much better value for the money. We have been staying here for years. Many units are oceanfront and if not, it is a very short walk to the beach. The place is maintained quite well inside and out....

The front desk office personnel were very friendly and efficient. We asked if we could upgrade to a oceanfront room and they said we could for an extra $150. I thought that was high for a week in February. We were going to do it until we were told there was remodeling going on so we didn't want to be...

We were warmly greeted by the security guard, Billy, who checked us in afterhours. When he learned I was recuperating from recent surgery, he move us to an unit with an elevator. He also graciously offered to assist us with our bags. The unit was quite spacious, well appointed, very clean, and well maintained. The staff members were always eager...

The hotel is definitely outdated. The hotel didn't have any computers for check in, no elevators and the pool was so dirty. The hotel had DVD and VCR players. The trash cans were on a ledge when we walked in

I have visited with family and friends over the years and always enjoy my stay. The OBX area is a great place to visit with great fishing, great ocean views and outstanding area restaurants! I would recommend Outer Banks Beach Clubs #1 & #2 to anyone interested in renting available units or for timeshare ownership! Enjoy!

We stayed in Unit 16EII, at the Outer Banks Beach Club II. We stayed in the shoulders season for 2 weeks so we were quite happy to not be on the beach view side. We walked the beach almost daily for the entire two weeks we were there. There was no gym included but they have the tags for the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We are a Time Share Resort that is family oriented. Friday check in's are across the street from the ocean with elevator access available in early 2014. These are two bedroom units. Saturday and Sunday check in's are oceanside and oceanfront with elevator access. One and three bedroom units on the oceanfront have elevators. Oceanside do not. There are two outdoor pools with hot tubs and one heated indoor pool with hot tub. We have shuffle board and tennis courts. Free wifi in the clubhouse and a free computer if needed. We offer free day passes to the local YMCA only two miles away. Plenty of activities daily for adults and children. We have beautiful beaches with spectacular views. Great local attractions very close to the resort. We have wheel chair access on our beach boardwalks with a large gazebo and viewing decks. We have 24 hour security and offer help with luggage especially for units without elevators via our luggage lifts. ... more   less
