Resort was very nice and clean. Good location, short drive to the beach. However, when we checked in, the concierge gave us a lot of information then told us he had taken the liberties of scheduling us for an informative meeting (to buy into the time share). He then asked us our yearly income and that they would need a...

Wonderful resort with great amenities and a warm and friendly staff. A touch of nature with trails and a fishing pond but plenty for the "not so outdoor enthusiasts" like the indoor Waterpark and Arcade. The only slight con for me was that Internet was not complimentary in our unit (but it is in the common areas). I highly recommend...

This resort is one of the nicer places I've stayed. Everything was updated and clean. The staff was very friendly. My top complaints are the lack of wifi in the rooms and the $25 per day mandatory resort fee. There are nice amenities including an indoor water park, exercise room, outdoor pool and pond with paddle boats but my 17...

We had a family of 5 on vaca and we all had a great time! Would love to come back when it's warmer weather and can enjoy more outdoors. The kids really enjoyed the indoor water park. The condo we stayed in was nice. Only con we had was that the dishes and silverware and stuff were dirty. I washed...

We had an incredible time it was actually better than expected Beachwood resort was an incredible place to stay in. My only concern was the pool had to much clorox. But besides that i would recomend it.

Great resort with lots to do. Shopping is near by with a Wal-Mart just outside the resort. Lot of space in the units. The only downside was the resort is not on the water. The resort does have a parking lot for its guess that is just across the street form the beach. Makes it easy to pack up your...

Generally, we enjoy Beachwoods. We have been staying there for years, going back to the Barrier Island Kitty Hawk Days. One thing they have recently started doing which I STRONGLY object to is the daily activity fee. They charge $25 a day for the facilities, whether you use them or not. They have some nice facilities, but that is not...

Stayed in a CLEAN 3 bedroom lockoff unit. We experienced a quiet resort due to off season. The renovations are great. Small waterpark, play area, lake with paddle boats and nice fitness room. Our unit had some issues that were resolved adequately (cooling and laundry). Check in was easy and staff were pleasant.

Booked four separate condos for four separate families and they attempted to place us in the three units. TERRIBLE customer service and the most dated décor you will ever find, EVER. Each of our four units were furnished completely randomly, toilets didn't work, NIGHTMARISH. Was actually hung up on by front desk and told that any issues were not their...

It is now called Beachwoods Resorts. We stayed in a 4 bedroom with a loft. This location was good and the time share had lots of room. Spacious rooms and large living room and kitchen. Only downfall was the indoor water park closed at 5pm. Close to shopping and tons of dining choices.

“Be sure to get an upstairs unit -- not much soundproofing when you have upstairs neighbors!”

“You will have no idea what facilities are available until you arrive and look for them. If you wish for a peaceful vacation with your family this is not the place to be. When not sightseeing off the resort property, you can stay in your room, not facilities on the property for you and your kids to use. Use your precious vacation time elsewhere.”
