The only complaint was our shower was damaged at the faucet, and very hard to get to work. The breakfast was actually really nice considering the covid restrictions. And the lizard Baymont was very cute!
We love staying at Baymonts however this one was not up to the typical standards. First of all we were given a room that had not been cleaned since last visitor. That problem was corrected but there was trash outside of doors waiting to be picked up. The phone in the room had been pulled out of the wall. No kleenex. Mildew was in the shower. Overall the room did not feel clean. We found a different hotel for the following night. Staff were very friendly.
the hotel was in a great location, within walking distance to some great restaurants & the beach. our room was clean, and check in was quick & easy. the lobby area was a little cluttered with random things, but my main concern is that our room was clean.
Room service doesn’t come your entire visit. The whole facility has trash overflowing. The building reeks of smoke and mildew. They tell you at check in there are grab and go bags for breakfast but there’s nothing. No coffee pot in room. There’s not even a ice bucket.
This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The only thing it provided was a bed to lay our heads. Everything else was not worth the $200+ we spent. It was dirty - trash and debris all over parking lot and walkways, outdoor trash cans overflowing, room smelled musty, dirt smudges on walls, mold in shower tiles, and more. It was not safe - the side main entrance door was permanently unlocked. Anyone could walk in at all times. Things were broken and out of order with no resolution or compensation - the pool was closed and appeared neglected, broken and and filthy, our tv didn't work and they didn't resolve it after we asked. The walls were paper thin - we could hear people talking, other guests, tvs, doors slamming, and people walking more than the usual hotel. The amenities were non-existent - no water bottles in room or even cups to drink water from the sink! No pens or paper. No breakfast - little snack bags fit for kids that had capri sun, applesauce, and a cereal bar. When we asked about bedding for our infant they suggested a sheet for the floor. The hotel was not beach front. A good walk to the beach through parking lots and buildings. Honestly, not a single thing left has happy. Worst stay we have ever had. DO NOT GO.…
