As grandparents of teenage boys attending the Art of Music Bluegrass Festival recently, we were quite impressed with the Lambuth Inn and the services: good food, clean rooms, beautiful decorations for the holidays, and helpful staff. The Shuttle service was one of the best things so we didn't have to fight for parking spaces! We will definitely consider doing this...

This Inn on Lake Junaluska is a beautiful treasure for Haywood County. We went up for a weekend getaway and the 1st Balsam Range Art of Music Festival (a new tradition we hope!). The inn is beautifully decorated for Christmas and is quite a gem. We would love to return next weekend for the Christmas festival. The onsite dining hall...

The Lambuth Inn sits on the west side of Lake Junaluska, part of a Methodist resort. The hotel is a grand old "dame", built in the late 1920's. It is a huge hotel with very long hallways. Rooms were clean. Decor is from the 1980's and probably could use some updating. We ate breakfast and dinner in the dining hall...

If you want the Embassy Suites with cushy, modern froo-froo, please book there. It's awesome. But this is its own kind of awesome. The parlors feel like Grandma's house. The rooms are clean and functional and all you need with the bonus of walking out and seeing the beautiful mountain-valley lake. It's like staying in a village, rather than a...

I was given a room in this Inn during a conference because the conference hotel was full. Thanks!! I had a lake view room. Very comfortable, nice beds. The real treat was that it is such a beautiful building and grounds. The first floor has different rooms and nooks with antiques and history everywhere. The grounds are full of flowers...

This is a grand old hotel, part of a Methodist conference center, that served as the base for a Road Scholar tour of the Great Smokies. After an initial snafu on our room ( which quickly got straightened out) our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The dining room was excellent on breakfast and dinner , although the sack lunch they...

It took a minute to absorb this unique hotel. Lobby is decorated with many side rooms like grandma or Aunt Polly's parlor. But, it is a southern religious retreat spot so it fit. Rooms are comfy and clean. Coffee pot in room. Best part is location with the beautiful Lake Junalaska . Great spot for early morning walk. Peaceful &...

When you first walk in it is just like walking into grandma's front room. I think the last time the decor was updated was in the mid-80's. The bed was hard and the pillows were old. Cobwebs covered the room ceiling and in the bathroom the paint was peeling off the ceiling. The shower curtain took up most of the...

We stayed at the Lambuth Inn as part of a church reunion. The rooms were a little dated, but very comfortable. All staff members were helpful. The stay included all meals at The Lambuth, all meals were very good and the wait staff was the best. The scenery was just breath taking and beautiful. We plan on coming back next...
