Went for breakfast. Very poor service. French toast was deep fried in rancid oil. Pancakes very thin but still somehow undercooked badly. Eggs benedict stale and miniscule in portion. Got a few excuses from the waitress and they comped the pancakes but no one ever came to address all of our complaints. Will never go back. The last thing you'd...

My husband and I stayed here for my birthday getaway. We really enjoyed our stay. The lodge has a beautiful view and setting. We enjoyed our very comfortable room with a large updated bathroom. They decks down to the water just invite you to sit and enjoy the view, which is gorgeous! Breakfast was good. You can either have the...

On a day trip to Lake Lure, we tried the restaurant at the Lodge on Lake Lure. It was nice to be away from the early leaf-peeping crowds at the Lake, and the Lodge has some great views. Braised hearts of romaine salad, barely breaded and fried calamari over cabbage and vinaigrette, and oh so tender Chilean sea bass...but the...

We spent the night here on labor day weekend to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. It is a very nice comfortable up market hotel in a romantic setting. Pricey but for a special occasion it is just the job. The deluxe room we booked was really clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. The setting is super scenic. Breakfast...

This is an amazing place to stay. Beautiful setting and great amazing staff! I had a business retreat for 3 days there with a group, and added on a night on each end to extend the getaway. Great choice. I stayed in Mellow Yellow room which is in annex building. Was very quite and peaceful. If you want the total...

Beautiful lake with a lot of Hollywood history. Dirty Dancing and The Last of the Mohicans were filmed there. Relaxing time out on a pontoon and on the nice Beach area. Close to other attractions which makes it a good base for other exploring in the area

I was a guest at the Lodge on August 13, 14, and 15. I can’t say enough good things about the property or staff! Everyone was always smiling, asking to help in any way, and I never heard any negative talk between them! Mary, Billy, Arlene, and Scott were so hands on and professional. The servers and housekeeping staff, whom...

Great location. Make sure you take the boat tour of the lake! Staff was very warm and helpful. Free paddle boards and canoes for use. Very quiet settling, good for small groups as they have suites of rooms.

My experience at the Lodge on Lake Lure was absolutely horrendous. A group of friends and I went for the dinner buffet, and right away, we were disappointed by what was offered. The options were very limited, and the taste of the foods was very sub-par. After being disappointed by a not-so-great dinner, we received the bill, only to be...
