By far the most rude manager aka dilan, has no respect to listen, jumps to conclusions. Did not care to hear my problems, just kept talking. Going to contact BBB and his bosses. P.S. haven’t even started to solve this.
Stayed here for one night because pets are allowed. The room reeked of a deodorizing spray or strongly scented cleaner. Had to air it out. Refrigerator dented. Microwave old. No iron. No ironing board. Shower unwelcoming and stained. I had no other options for a room due to needing pet-friendly, and I was tired. Only one night, I thought. I awoke the next morning with itchy red spots on my wrists, back, chest, elbows and head. Bug bites! They have been itching a LOT now for two days. Walls are thin and lots of parking lot noises. Beware this hotel. No more Red Roof Inns for me,
Front desk staff was super friendly, way more friendly than any other hotel I've been to. You can tell there has been recent renovations done, everything looks fresh and new, room was very clean. Didn't eat breakfast so I can't comment on that. You can see a major improvement to the hotel since Red Roof took over, way better than it was as a Days Inn. Also hotel is pet friendly, with no pet fees.
We were pleasantly surprised! Since Red Roof took over this old Days Inn, the updated the rooms. New mattresses and bedding, new bathroom fixtures, new tv, new flooring, freshly painted. Rooms were clean, no odors, spacious. I highly recommend for travelers who don’t require 5 star hotels.
This appears to be the place where angry young black men bring their white girlfriends or wives to have a large public fight where they act like nobody else is around. So while you are unloading your car you get to listen to loud yelling, doors slamming, rap music so loud it jars your fillings loose in your head and wonder if maybe gunshots are in your future. We went to eat after this public display and upon returning to the parking lot, a loud bang, sounding like a gunshot permeated the air behind us. We went inside and looked out to see a girl obviously upset and apparently locked out of her room and car by a large man upstairs. She was crying and he had the door to his room open but was not allowing her re-entry. Not our business so we didn't interfere. This went on for several minutes. Loud noises throughout the night made me wonder is we would find our car broken into the next morning. I wish I had read the reviews about the "back side lot" before renting. This room was more expensive than most rooms we rented on a four day trip and was clearly the dirtiest. The pillow smelled like perfume from a thrift store, the walls had damages, some repaired and not painted, some not repaired. The water pressure was good, the ice machine worked. I would NOT recommend this to women alone or elderly people.…
My 3 night stay at this hotel, was probably the worse stay ever. Although the room was clean and comfortable, in my opinion, leaving your room you take your life in your hands! It appeared to me, that drug dealing was going on from a car in the rear parking lot. A lot of questionable people coming and going from this vehicle. Also, when returning to my room, 2 heavily armed police officers were in the parking lot; I heard a prostitute would not leave a room, the mgr gave a contradictory store. When I told someone where I was staying, they replied, "that is the crack and prostitute hotel!" The management offered no compensation. I would never stay there again nor recommend this "hotel" to anyone.
the staff was friendly and the room was really nice you could tell they took a lot of pride in having the remodel done right. The room was clean and neat. The outside does not reflect what the rooms look like on the inside. Now if they could up date the outside of the building.
Driving into the property, I was concerned about how to rooms would be as it appeared deserted. However, when I opened to room door, it was like I was walking into an upscale hotel room. It was gorgeous inside!!!. They provided a large refrigerator, microwave, etc. Breakfast was good too. I slept like a baby in the plush, comfortable bed.The bathroom decor was warm and inviting; the shower pressure was just what I needed. Everything you need is within walking distance: grocery stores, restaurants, etc. I would absolutely stay here again!
There was some kind of substance on bathroom floor that was spilled and dried up. Hinges and knobs on bathroom door were corroded with grease and grime. Bedroom had a mildew smell. There were bugs crawling on the wall. The pillows were flat and small. There was a military style blanket on the bed that was rough to the touch. We did not sleep well.
Rooms were a bit small, like perfect to just sleep in, but don't expect lots of floor space. Staff was super friendly and check in was easy. Room was clean and wifi was easy to access. We slept to late to get breakfast, but the Papa Johns across the street was a great midnight snack.
