Big Lynn Lodge isn't quite a hotel/motel, and not really a B&B, it's somewhere in between. For the price of a mid-grade hotel you get a quaint accomodation, breakfast, dinner, a million dollar view, and ammenities that you ordinarily find in a B&B. To be honest if your acceptable standards are the Hilton and above this is not the place...

We happened upon this gem by accident and decided to see if they had an availability that night. Thankfully, they did! The rates are very reasonable, the views are breathtaking and the service is TOP NOTCH! We felt like our stay was very appreciated. Customer service is dead in a lot of places nowadays, but not here. We were felt...

After 2 days motorcycle ride from Toronto to NC we arrived at Big Lynn Lodge just in time for dinner. We received a warm welcome from Vicki who also checked us in the room. The rooms clean and confortable, but it does't really matter when you look out to the magnificent view. Included in the room price was dinner and...

Superb, rustic, mountain top location, with mom and pop atmosphere. Property is older but very well kept and maintained by excellent staff. Breakfast and evening dinner are part of the room rate and the meals were home style, breakfast is as ordered, no buffet style. View from all cabins and dining room was spectacular. The Johnson family make a special...

Wonderful place to stay and make your Base Camp. Views magnificent. We have been in Europe and stayed at cottages in the "original" Switzerland. This place is better because it is Made in the USA. We will return in the Fall with friends.

Five buddies on motorcycles recently took a trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains to ride all the scenic roads. On a suggestion from a friend who had previously stayed at the Big Lynn Lodge, we booked rooms for a 4 day 3 night stay. We were all some what skeptical about not staying a national chain hotel, but after staying...

Stayed at Big Lynn's for 5 nights, took advantage of free night special, and my wife and I really enjoyed their hospitality. We stayed in one of the rooms facing the mountains and had a great view each day in the rocking chairs they have on each porch. The rooms were very clean and parking was easy and close. The...
