What a wonderful B&B! I picked it because of the gardens well maintained by the owners, and was so please to spend each day there refreshed by the beautiful landscape. I listened to nature sounds, saw deer, and took in the beauty each of the 5 days I was there. The owners where very welcoming, and the rooms were lovely...

This was a wonderful addition to our summer vacation plans. We traveled from Alaska and our two daughters 8 and 11 had no shortage of things to do at this enchanting property. The amazing grounds and astonishingly clean accommodations will have us coming back to Charlotte for sure. The setting of the house offers views of many local birds, deer,...

My husband and I were driving north and thought a good first night place to stop would be in the Charlotte, NC area. We found information on the 803 Elizabeth Lane B&B, and I think it was the photos of the beautiful roses that piqued our interest. The B&B is actually the home of Martha and Will Krauss, who are...

Martha and Will are such nice inn keepers. They have their own bee hives on the property so if you like true organic local honey this is the place. The rooms were nice and breakfast was great. The innkeepers shop for breakfast food at Trader Joe's, the food was top notch. We stayed at 803 using this for a jump...

You can't go wrong staying here! I had the most pleasant 4 days and, quite honestly, I didn't want to leave! My room was perfect! It opened out to a deck where I could see the gardens and Cardinals hopping around in the magnolias....the birdsong every morning was so beautiful! Breakfast was always wonderful and plentiful. I have fairly severe...

Will and Martha's bed and breakfast is everything and more that they describe. Their property is a gorgeous lovingly maintained garden in the woods that they happily will give you a tour of. Their large room was immaculate and inviting with an indoor and outdoor porch right outside sliding glass doors. Their breakfasts were to die for and Martha went...

Sometimes it's the journey, not the destination. But for us, 803 Elizabeth Bed and Breakfast became a place we would have liked to stay longer. My wife and I had chosen Matthews as a convenient rendezvous location for us, traveling from Virginia, to meet old friends coming from South Carolina and continue a 25-year Trivial Pursuit competition. We quickly realized...

We had a wonderful 3 day stay with Martha and Will. They made us feel very welcome, even temporarily replaced the stars & stripes with a union jack for us! They have a lovely tranquil home surrounded by beautiful gardens and trees. It was very peaceful with lots of birds and wildlife. Our room was very comfortable and had patio...
