Due to unforeseen incident we were left to stay at this comfort inn for 3 nights. The front desk woman and male throughout our stay made us feel very comfortable and at easy. Very helpful when it came to ordering food and finding a taxi when we needed it. I am happy we ended up here. Couldn’t have asked for better hospitality. I would recommend this place to another that needs a rest during their travels.

Clean and comfy rooms. Arrived late to a warm welcome from Nathaniel at the front desk who patiently and graciously helped sort out a booking mistake (that was totally our fault). Was happy to be here at the end of a long day.

Our vacation began with finding out that hotels.com never sent our booking to the hotel. So no reservation had ever been done so the hotel was running out of rooms that night and had already ran out of the room we had booked. After over two hours of the Hotel Concierge and myself calling Hotels.com and getting transferred and hung up on several times, Nate saved the day and got us one of the last rooms left and helped us squeeze in with a roll away cott. He helped make our stay as comfortable as possible. All the staff at Comfort Inn & Suites in Morganton were extremely friendly and very helpful. The hotel stay was quite and our room was nice. Not a lot of traffic noise either with it's location. If ever back in Morganton, we will definitely plan to stay here but we will call directly, no more "third party bookings".…

The location in Morganton NC is horrible. They do not honor booking from any place besides their website. So the whirlpool pool room on Tripadvisor is actually over $200 and they will not honor the discount this site gives you. I booked a whirlpool room on Priceline, the man at the counter refused to give me the room I paid in advance for, then also refused to give me my money back. He was extremely rude and I will never be back. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had in a hotel.

We booked the comfort inn because we knew it had an indoor pool and we’re hoping to spend the day with our grandchildren enjoying the facilities. When we arrived we were told the pool was closed due to Covid, even though all Covid restrictions have been lifted. The place had an odd odor to it, but it was worse when we got to our room. But because we had arrived late at night we didn’t want to go look for another room elsewhere. Buyer beware

Booked a room from a site for comfort inn & suites. Actually talked to a person from the site on the phone. Said I need a room with two beds and a pull out couch or enough room for a roll away bed. No probably, I asked is the pool open, he says yes there pool is open. Do they have breakfast, yes they do he says. Well as you guessed none of the above was correct at all. Pool closed, breakfast was a prepackaged thanks to covid-19 breakfast, the room.... Two beds, no pull out couch no room for a roll away bed. I was beside myself. I was as expected upset. I went down stairs to speak with the front desk. On my way to the front desk I calm myself because I know that it wasn't anyone here that I talked to when getting the room. So as I got to the front desk I explained the whole issue from the pool to the room. The gentleman behind the front desk was for apologetic because of my situation. He then proceeds to look at all available options to resolve the issue that again they did not cause. At first the options he gave me would have caused me to spend more money then I really wanted to, so I said I'll just cancel the reservation. He tells me to go ahead and give the website a call and he would see what else he could work out. So after going back and forth with the website people, and of course they did nothing wrong. I go back inside comfort inn tell the desk clerk that I'm just going to cancel. He says I think I may have an idea. He has a room with a king size bed with a pull out couch and enough room to put in a roll away bed, and says I'm going to give you the king suite for the same price you paid for the room you had reserved. So all in all it worked out. I finally got a room that I was happy with, and all because someone went above and beyond to make sure his customers had a great experience while staying at the comfort inn & suites of morganton nc. And the folks at Comfort Inn & Suites call this person Nate, but I call him a diamond in the rough. He greatly exceeded my expectations!!!! That kind of service and treatment is what will keep me coming back!!!…

We stayed two nights with our dog while visiting Morganton and South Mountains. Staff were friendly and nice to the dog and it was very clean. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was good. Location is convenient along US-64 and right off I-40. Reasonable price and pet fee. We would stay here again, especially if traveling with the dog.

Nate is a great asset to this hotel or any business for that matter. Omg he was a jewel! His kindness is why we decided to even stay there. Room clean . Except AARP . I highly recommend this place to stay. Bed is great for a good night sleep. Nate went out of his way for a front desk worker that I have ever seen. So kind! But come and see for yourself!

Had a great one night stay. Great location right off of I40 with some restaurants nearby. Check in was quick and easy. General manager checked me in and out the following morning. Room was large with nice Jacuzzi. Bed was very comfortable. Room was very clean. Although I didn’t sleep to well no fault of my room just me, I totally enjoyed this hotel. Breakfast was great!
