Property needs to work on cleanliness and pest control. I have had to clean my own bathroom tub upon entering room more than once. There is a problem with stink bugs and small moths. Shower curtains are stained and some have an odor.
I never got to check in I booked online and when I got there to check in I was told I needed to pay another $250 deposit to be able to check in which I did not have she then tried to run my card for another $50 which luckily I had my card turned off and it declined it she told me to contact the website that I used to book to get my refund but yet when I do that the hotel never responded to their calls so I never was issued a refund and my reservation is still sitting open online worst experience ever very rude lady at the desk that was not trying to help at all
I've been trying to get a refund since shortly after checking in at 320pm on Monday October 17th. The room 104 upon check-in was disgusting, bodily fluids were all over the bathroom, bugs and burn marks everywhere, the room was obviously not cleaned after the previous guests. It was so gross I felt sick to my stomach. I left the room immediately seeing the state it was in and told the front desk person I can not stay in the room as it's a health hazard. I also contacted Priceline at this time. The front desk person said his manager would refund the reservation once he got there later that evening. 5 days later, I'm still waiting as Priceline has not been able to speak with anyone at the front desk. Also, I was charged 550 dollars for the pet deposit and fees (charged twice for pet deposit) and the front desk person Miguel said he had reversed the charges but my bank is telling me the charges are still showing. The staff treated me and my fiance poorly when we told them about the room's cleanliness issues. They were rude, unprofessional, dismissed our concerns and intimidated us into leaving the hotel when we asked for the Manager's name and phone number. So far, Priceline has not been able to contact this manager or provide any kind of resolution. They offered a 15% off coupon which was insulting considering all that I had been put through and im demanding a full refund. I had to book another more expensive hotel down the road and my trip was cut short. I am out of over 650 dollars right now for an unsanitary room that I could not use. I'm reporting this hotel to the BBB and the health department. I've disputed this transaction with my bank. I'm leaving my review on all available platforms. This is unacceptable and I need my money back. Priceline, refund me and make things right. Super 8, you should not be in business as you're putting guests in unsafe and unsanitary rooms and treating people rudely when they raise valid concerns. Pick up the phone when Priceline calls and approve my cancellation. You think you can just avoid the calls forever? Travellers considering this hotel, please take my review seriously so you don't end up in a similar situation. This has been the worst hotel experience of my life and I was only in that disgusting room for 20 seconds before I had to step out so as not to vomit. Train your staff to treat people with decency instead of being defensive when being told your rooms are not cleaned. Super 8 corporate, it's time for an audit of your franchisee. The room overall was clean for the most part. Had a few cigarette burn holes in the comforter. Included shampoo, conditioner, bar facial soap to use. Ice machine was down for maintenance until 4;30 am and breakfast was provided in plastic containers. Containing stale cereal that seemed like it has been sitting on the counter for a few days. Also had a gallon of milk in the fridge to use for cereal instead of individually wrapped milk cartons. I’d rate this hotel a 3 out of 5. It isn’t superior or anything special but will get you by until you are finished with your traveling.
We stayed for 1 night and left the next morning, staff said we stole towels and washcloths and pulled 60 dollars out of my account to cover the theft. Won't EVER stay there again, very offended by their accusation, staff out of line.
Hair clumped to back of bathroom door. Mattress pad and cover of the mattress were stained brown all over. Sheets were put on the bed inside out. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! I checked in and then 15 min check right out.
Everything was great I could not have asked for better services. Everyone went above and beyond their duties to make me feel welcome already making plans to stay at Super 8 on my next trip to Morgantown NC
We were looking for a room to sleep in for one night after a day of hiking. After some research, this motel seemed to be our best value. When pulling into the lot, you could see it is not a newer motel. After the check-in, which was quick and very effortless, we went to our room, which was located in front of the ice and vending machine. We were afraid this was going to be an issue with noise, but it was not. Upon entering the room, it was very stylish and appeared to be up to date. There was a large tv, refrigerator and microwave. You could tell the room had been updated and was all we needed for a night's rest. The bed was very comfortable, and it was probably one of the quieter hotel's we have ever stayed in. We did stay in late February, so not sure if this would be the same during a busier time of the year. We did see some areas of the room that could have been cleaned a little better, but nothing of huge concern. There was no coffee or cups in the room to use with the coffee machine, but I am sure would have been given to us if we'd gone to the office and asked for it. If in the area, we would book this room again.…
I've always had a good experience with the staff especially Paige who works at the front... I've stayed there quite a few times and certain rooms are better than others as far as the size but everything always works and it's clean... Every stay has been a pleasant experience
My kids loved it very convenient area spacious room everyone was very nice quiet bathroom was very clean staff was very nice my kids had plenty of play room beds were very clean I was very pleased with my stay
