We were here to fish and enjoy some time away before the holidays. We have stayed here many times. The manager and his wife were very welcoming and made us feel like family. They let us know what was open and gave us information with addresses and phone numbers. They have also replaced their door keys with electronic locks which was a great surprise. No more lost keys or getting locked out. This was indeed one of the best stays.

Hotel's Favourite
I stayed overnight at the motel and felt welcomed and safe. The room was clean and comfortable and I was able to walk everywhere in town from the motel. I had planned to stay two nights but my husband was ill back home so the motel allowed me to cancel my second night very graciously. The breakfast at the restaurant was delicious too!

Wow! The stay was so nice. The room was clean and each morning the beds were made and towels replaced. Everything was perfect. Its been a few years since I have stayed here and they also have sodas and food in the main office and what looks like brand-new golf carts you can rent. Will definitely stay again!

My friend and I stayed at Pony Island for three nights (including for the Pirate Festival!). We had a nice room with two double beds, a central table and a fridge, overlooking the pool. It was perfectly clean, the staff at both the desk and cleaning the rooms were friendly and efficient. And the location was perfect for walking everywhere, including to restaurants, bars, coffee shops. We'll be back!

New and updated. Desk personnel were local and very helpful. Not a huge room, but it had everything we needed and was very clean. Walking distance to Pony Island restaurant. Nice grounds and pool. Lots of parking.

Very large hole in window screen let flies into room. It must have been a problem for others as a fly swatter was hanging on wall in room. Walls were paper thin so it was noisy. Only 2 pillows on bed, 4 would be better. Mattress was soft. Very small TV. The room was clean.

It was a spacious and comfortable but basic room, close to center of town and gorgeous beach. Nice porch with chairs - shared with others. Picnic tables with grills. Can rent bicycles at the motel as well.

I've been stay there for over 45 years. It's always a great experience. They have a restaurant beside the motel that has the absolute best breakfast on the island. The location is close to shopping, groceries and access to the beach.

We stayed at the Pony Island Inn for four nights, and we loved the inn and the island. Most of all, we appreciated the AMAZING care and help and support from three employees in the office. Honestly, we have never received so much generous help from office staff. These people were honest and persistent to help us get everything we needed to enjoy our visit. We had the best vacation ever because of the people who worked in the office. Roger is the best!

Amazing experience. Central location. You can walk or bike to lots of restaurants and shops. Great room. Super comfortable bed. Tho bring your own pillows - they only provide two for a Queen bed. Shout out to Chris who checked us in. He provided great service and was a wonderful source of local info. Will definitely stay here again.
