We thought this would be a nice place to stop on the way to SC. But once we stopped, we decided not to stay. The house was not very clean and didn't meet our expectations of a B&B. It was very dusty and smelled like the dogs that were barking at us from upstairs. The surrounding area was depressed and...

Now let me give you a run down of these marvelous people. They came to the front door and I knew by their faces they wouldn't stay. No smile, no introductions, etc. They really didn't want a tour of the B&B and went straight to their room to lay on the bedspread. I agree with one thing - the town...

My wife and I were setting up at a local festival and we stayed the night before at the Twin Magnolias. First they had a private parking lot that we could keep our small trailer and car in. The house was clean and fully air conditioned to a very comfortable temperature. The owner suggested a local restaurant for dinner that...

I stopped here while on may way south. The food was good, the staff was very nice, there were no privacy issues, and it was clean. This is a good place to stay if you are passing through North Carolina. I have no complaints.

A friend and I spent the night here while we were on a road trip. The house is older but decorated in interesting ways. There are no doors on the rooms. Doorways are covered by curtains so privacy is a bit limited. It seems to work, though. The owners live up stairs. They provided a wonderful breakfast and lively conversation.

Where did these people stay? It wasn't the Twin Magnolias B&B. We have doors on all of our rooms! There are no curtains covering the doors! Privacy is a plus for us. The customers have the whole bottom floor in the evening for themselves. They have the whole living room with TV etc. They had to have us mixed up...

We stopped on our way to northern VA for a delightful one night stay. The owner recommended a nice restaurant for dinner, there was cake waiting for us when we returned. Our room was comfortable, with 2 beds (hard to find in a B&B), and the owner and her daughter were delightful, with a delicious and nutritious breakfast.

We stayed here for a night on our way south, and were very pleased. The room we stayed in (Baker Street) was well-appointed and very comfortable, with a large, private bath. We had the lower level to ourselves, and spent some time reading in the living room area, enjoying some homemade cake. Breakfast was wonderful, and just the start we...

I love B&B's, my husband not so much, but he was very happy with Twin Magnolias B&B. We had the queen bed with the bathroom. The owners allowed us to check in early and leave our luggage while we went to the Bird Park. The house is large with a nice porch, Koi pond and flower garden and chairs to...

We visited Twin Magnolias for Labor Day weekend. We wanted a quiet, relaxing weekend just to kick back. The town is very small and quiet. The B&B is quaint and homey! The people are friendly and the food is awesome! Breakfast is an art here and you never walk away from the table hungry! The rooms are clean and I...

The mother-daughter owners really went the extra mile for me. I told them I was vegan when I booked. The daughter researched what that meant online and prepared a healthy, sumptuous breakfast that avoided both dairy and eggs. She even had soy milk for my coffee! A lovely stay.

I stayed at the Twin Magnolias B&B last week. My best friend moved to Roanoke Rapids and she told me to stay at the B&B in town. I had a hard time finding it as Stacy didn't tell me the name so I looked it up on Travel Advisor and they listed 3 B&B's in town. I found out that...
