We were looking for a safe getaway from Covid and Political Chaos of 2020. Having not left home for 6 months we wanted a location that was off the beaten path. Wow did we choose well! The directions are very detailed and you will need them to reach the location. We have a Sprinter Van which is more like a truck. No problems although turning around is a bit close for larger vehicles. Room is small and cozy with a lovely deck over a wonderful creek. We enjoyed the deck in the late afternoon but it was a bit cool with a temp of 44 in the morning. Good heating and cooling, very comfortable bed. Small kitchen has everything you need to heat up food you bring with you. There is a small refrigerator which was more than adequate for us - if staying longer you might need a cooler. The porch you pass through to get to your room is shared with the owners. Not a problem for us. We saw them when we arrived, at breakfast, and when we left. Very good breakfast served if you choose it. There was fancy satelliite TV and movies but we chose not to use them. There is no WIFI and cell phones do not work. This was a plus for us. You can use the hosts landline if needed. Hosts were very friendly but not intrusive. The creek was my favorite!

This is a must stay. We love staying in the mountains. This is a lil b-n-b deep in the woods down a long dirt road. The directions are not as intimidating as they looked. Great owners who live in the next building over. I'd advise to bring a cooler and food with you to cook, depending on how long you're staying. There is a mini fridge, but the cooler might be helpful to keep your foods cool until you get to the place. The creek in front of the room is surreal. So relaxing. We loved it.

A beautiful spot by the creek. Clean well appointed room. It takes a while to get to along a gravel track just off the Cherohala Skyway so you'll need an SUV. The cabin adjoins the owner's house and is accessed via their sideway, as such it lacks privacy.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We're glad you appreciated the beauty of our property. We fully disclose we are off the beaten path in the backwoods on an old gravel logging road in a rural setting. We also disclose and show we live here by posting pictures of the property, our residence and the location of the bunkhouse. You do access the bunkhouse through our porch which is also disclosed in pictures, but it is a separate structure. We provide as much privacy as guests desire, but since we are a bed and breakfast we have to be on the property.
