Everything was great, Service in the restaurant, bar, housekeeping was all done with professional people who enjoyed their job and it showed. Food was great, atmosphere is very quaint, a little romantic. Hiking trails close by and they packed our lunch each day. Beautiful places to watch the sunset and sunrise. Fire pits outside, screen room with fire pit. It's...

My wife and friends have been going to Snowbird Mountain Lodge each year since 2002. It is blessed place of renewal and solitude but also of friendship and laughter. The lodge is quaint and comfortable with a fireplace that takes you away but brings you home at the same time. The food is exceptional and cocktails that bring a cozy...

Three day stay included two wine tasting dinners. Really enjoyable experience. Owner and staff pay attention to every guest. Beautiful inside library with fireplace and expansive views from outside deck treat guests with quality regardless of weather. Did not spend much time in room but no complaints--too much to do elsewhere. Highly recommended for quiet escape to nature as no...

After thinking about visiting this small inn for over 30 years, we finally found the time to do so. I wish we had done so a long time ago. Set on a mountainside in western NC, this setting automatically brings serenity to your life. With no TV in room, with several fireplaces to enjoy just sitting or reading or engaging...

The Snowbird Mountain Lodge is a great place to vacation. The individual cabins are really nice. The service and food are excellent. The view sitting on the back porch in the rocking chairs is very relaxing.

Our stay at this lodge couldn't have been better. The front desk staff was friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about things to do at or nearby the lodge, including numerous hiking trails and the Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest (a must see/do). Our room was on the ground floor in the main lodge (there are two floors). There are also cabins...

We have been coming to Snowbird for the past half dozen years. We love how beautiful the area is -- very quiet and peaceful. We come for the relaxed lodge atmosphere, good food and excellent wine list! This year we came in October instead of our usual summertime visit. The fireplaces were roaring in the living room and in the...

If I had unlimited resources, and I could go anyplace in the world, I'd go to Snowbird Mountain Lodge. That's how much I like it. It's the complete package for mountain getaways. We have been going here since 1981.

Beautiful setting, wonderful staff, gourmet meals. It is located right at the ridge top of the smoky mountains separating Tennessee and North Carolina. Just a short 5-10 minute drive to the Joyce Kilmer memorial Forest which is the largest intact tract of virgin forest east of the Mississippi. Short hikes from the lodge to sunrise and sunset vistas
