What a beautiful setting and gorgeous building. Sadly it is in a state of neglect and even with the staff's best efforts we had to leave early. No hot water, barking mad dogs all night (literally!) and the kids beds were far to hard. They're not fussy so upon inspection (!) it was obvious no human could sleep on them...

The hotel was in very spacious grounds with chalet-like rooms, amazing location and on a lovely sunny day the pool is very inviting. As we visited (2 nights) in February, it was warm during the day but freezing at night time, almost as the sun went down the temperature dropped considerably. The rooms were spacious and clean but absolutely freezing...

The location (if you have a car) is stunning. The Atlas mountains surround the hotel and there are some nice walks nearby. There is plenty of space and a nice pool and the rooms are basic (Berber style) but spacious. I don't like to come across as really picky or overly negative, but it felt as though we arrived at...

My husband and I stayed here in December and although it warmed up to around 22 degrees in the day time, the mornings and evenings were very cold and everyone at breakfast sat with coats on. The breakfast is very basic, just seems to be coffee and 3 different bread offerings with jam and butter. The rooms are very clean...

just back from a week at this hotel and it was great, at some points we where the only guests, like a private paradise that feels a million miles away from the chaos of the city - the hotel has a lovely collony of cute kittens that would join us in our sit around the pool and at breakfast outdoors...

We were very impressed indeed when we arrived here as part of our 14-day tour of Morocco. It was by far the nicest hotel we stayed in. Lovely big rooms - and everything worked. Unfortunately, the weather was not good and we could not enjoy the pool/gardens. The food, however, was another matter. If you offer chips on the menu...

I traveled to Morocco with 18 colleagues for a working retreat, we stayed at the Ksar Shama for 3 nights, and were pleasantly surprised by the property, the service, the people and the country! Ksar Shama is a well looked after hotel with rooms/suites separate from the main building, which means in inclement weather you have to make a mad...
