We stayed in Unit 5 which is a two bedroom self contained unit. The children loved the position. The unit backed onto the rainforest and it was a very short walk to the surf which we enjoyed everyday. Very quiet position. There is a backpackers hostel close by but no noise was heard from them during our entire stay. Only...

Agnes Palms Beachside motel and apartments is very close to the pristine white sandy beach at Agnes Water. From the apartments it is a short walk on a path through paperbark trees to the beach. We walked to the town centre and back along the beautiful beach. Agnes Palms Beachside is also only a short drive to Seventeen Seventy. The...

Offering backpacker's dorm, hotel-style rooms and self contained units, we paid the bit extra to take a two bedroom self contained unit (own kitchen and laundry facilities)... And it really was worth it. The unit was neat and clean. Fittings and furnishings are a little worn (the place has been running for a some time now) but everything worked. No...

We were looking for just one night accomodation around 1770 or Agnes Waters and at first rejected this place as it looked like a cheap Backpackers place. But, as it turned out, there are several styles of accomodation available, something for all budgets. The reception staff was only too happy to show us around and so we settled for a...

We had 1bedroom cabin here but floor felt dirty, perhaps because of sand?? But don't think it was swept before we arrived. The kitchen was fairly well equipped and had an enormous fridge/freezer. Patio overlooked palm trees etc and close walk to beach. We were only there 2nights but would do well for longer time. It was handy to town...

Starting from the top, the manager,Julie was so warm, welcoming and helpful...... she made me feel at home more than i have felt anywhere else. The staff were very friendly and sociable,...

I've stayed here before with my partner in the motel part. We thought it was awesome for what we paid. It was an essentials only space for my partner and I to just relax and have a roof over our head. The backpacker however is suited for just that. I'm unsure whether I'm just used to my own space but...

We didn't know what to expect other than the photos we saw in the booking website, but I can tell you that the photos don't do this place justice. Our 2 bedroom apartment was superb. It had boardwalk access to the beach from our large back deck, an outdoor shower overlooking a tropical forest & Austar (so I could watch...

We had two great nights at Agnes Palms. The facilities we were in were a little old but were clean and tidy, we were on a budget. However there are some first rate detached units. The Palms had a tremendous atmosphere. Apparently under new management, Peter did all he could to ensure an enjoyable stay. Fantastic location, walk to beach...

The only good thing s about this apartment was the shower, air con, and bed. But it did keep sliding away from wall as no head board. Was tiny and practically in jungle therefore plenty of spiders etc!! We couldnt sit out side as our neighbours were permanently smoking... Disgusting. I think these apartments could definitely do with a revamp...
