I was looking around for to give my young kids (2 and 7) an authentic experience of staying on the farm. The Wallaby Cottage provided us with a serene backdrop with all the modern amenities, though too big for as - we had an extra bedroom we didn't use. My oldest remarked that it was so big, like a hotel,...

We stayed at Stinson Cottage (self-catered) for 3 nights. We didn't go for the catered option partly for cost and partly due to our mostly pescetarian diet. The kitchen is well-equipped (though some of the utensils are not well-maintained) and I would really recommend self-catering for those who love cooking as there's more flexibility and you will save lots of...

I had the pleasure of visiting Cedar Glen Farmstay a few days before Christmas. I stayed in the original 1901 homestead and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. My room was spacious and comfortable, opening onto a large verandah overlooking a delightful garden with hills/mountains in the background. I also spent time admiring the old photographs and historic nick knacks scattered throughout...

We (2A2C) stayed at the Wallaby Cottage for 4D/3N during early Dec 2013. Nice scenery and the occasional Wallabies pop by, fascinating us. We were so close to nature! Natasha & Sabrina taught us how to ride horses. The horses are well trained and they are really careful. My daughter enjoyed that so much and she rode the horses the...

We stayed for 2 nights in the Wallaby Cottage and it is spacious for 2 adults and 1 child. It is cosy and close to the homestead where breakfast and dinner are served. We enjoyed the outings for picnic lunch where the Nigel and Natasha drove us to different locations on the property. Being city folks, we enjoyed nice views...

Our family of 6 adults + 2 kids stayed at the Cedar glen homestead for 3D2N last month. And we all, especially the kids, really enjoyed it. We went for the twilight 4 wheel drive tour up the mountains, and it was really a sight to behold. Owner Nigel drove us up, and was very helpful in explaining to us...

I was keen to try a farm stay to see if my 11 year old girl and 9 year old boy liked it or not. They're city kids with iPad eyes. Well, they absolutely loved it, as did I (their dad). We went for three days and two nights and did every included and each additional activity. The children loved...

Plenty of space in the cottage and the fire place made the cold winter stay cozy. The farm animals were the highlight for me, especially milking the cow! Great surroundings and comfy cabins. If you're looking for a farm stay in this part of Australia I recommend Cedar Glen.

We've just retuned from our first ever farm stay experience at Cedar Glen.  It was truly wonderful.  We stayed at Stinson Cottage which was so quaint, it was like stepping back in time.   It was also very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. We booked full board and the food was really great especially the picnics.  The activities were...

Incredible, one of the favourite places i have ever been. The environment and culture makes the place perfect. I wish I could go back. I don't see how anyone can not give this 5*'s. Also you have to do the whip cracking as it is brilliant fun and it made me feel like a child again.
