We came down from Kowanyama for a break and we're in 7th heaven. The room was very comfortable and clean with everything in place. Being just next door to the pub with excellent meals. We couldn't have been happier.

The people who live and work in this town are most friendly. One of the best sunsets we have seen. Ashers acrossthe rowd has the best barra you have ever tasted. The hotel is right next door with also a great look at the sunset and nice cold beer.

We had three nights in the two bedroom beachfront apartment. Apartment was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. We sat outside and enjoyed great sunsets each night. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

After a long drive on gravel roads, a very welcoming motel. Located right at the shores of the Gulf of Carpentaria. Very modern motel, kept in first class condition with good facilities. Watch the Sunset from the motel's barbecue area whilst enjoying a cold beer and great Barra. (Barra country!) Great location for fishing or making a trip into the...

We were very pleased with our room here. It was clean, cool and comfortable and had great access to views of the Norman River and out to the Gulf of Carpentaria. There appears to be good fishing available, too. Good choice for weary travellers!

Cheerful, good-sized rooms - a table with 4 chairs and sofa bed, full size fridge (which we turned off overnight as it was quite noisy) good kitchen bench and sink and all the kitchen gear you'd need for doing some self catering. A large bathroom sadly with a fan and light all on one switch so quite breezy showering during...

Not a top of the range motel with the rooms starting to show their age but well appointed, had trouble with the TV but this was quickly rectified by the staff which was really appreciated. Good location next to the sunset tavern but this did not create any noise issues. Over all not a bad nights stay.

My tour group flew from Cairns with Daintree Air Services to Karumba for our 4 day tour. End of the Road Motel was our first night and the accommodation in this gulf, outback township was great. Well located, easy walking to the Sunset Tavern for lunch and Ash's Cafe across the road for our 'early' breakfast. We had a BBQ...
