6 of us stayed for a weekend in Jolly's rest and Carpenter's cottage. The location in central Mintaro is excellent, quiet and peaceful for a relaxing visit to Clare valley attractions and wineries. Jolly's is larger, with a great lounge and adequate kitchen space, but only sleeps 2. Carpenter's sleeps 4, but has a small sitting area and kitchenette in...

Very run down, old thick cobwebs everywhere. Hasn't been cleaned properly in years. Dirty quilt covers (they must not change them ever - one quilt had what looked like bodily fluids on them!), curtains & windows - many you couldn't open as were stuck, thick with cobwebs or had no screens etc. Old food on the floors & rubbish left...

We stayed at the mintaro hideaway with our 10 year old daughter to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary. It was a lovely old house separated into 3 apartments. We stayed in the 2 bedroom scholar apartment . The beds were comfy, the electric blankets were lifesavers as it got down to 2degrees. The combustion heater added such an atmospheric warmth...

A beautifully maintained property with excellent facilities. The bath was a highlight along with a comfortable bed to collapse into. Started our Geocaching adventure in Mintaro and it took us out to Martindale Hall - an impressive building that has been beautifully and historically maintained.

Got off to a bit of a shaky start but Sue was very helpful and sorted things out efficiently. Lovely spa and wood burning stove. Loads of room - quaint quiet lovely comfy bed - just come well prepared with provisions as not much available nearby. Good value and Jolly's rest was the one we were in. Very enjoyable.

I think back at our relaxing stay at Mintaro Hideaway and miss it so much. The whole experience was lovely. The accommodation was sensational. I loved the cold nights and the warm fire, the hot water in the spa was so inviting and I loved the comfort of the huge bed. The breakfast provisions were plentiful, giving me lots of...

I really enjoyed my time at Mintaro Hideaway and took advantage of their third night free option by heading up to Mintaro a day earlier that the rest of our party of 4. We've stayed at the Hideaway several times. It's always a very peaceful relaxing stay. The hideaway has a a very rustic, homey feel & after a couple of nights there its amazing how relaxed and de-stressed we are! Whether its sipping a glass of wine on the front porch or a BBQ in the lovely backyard it's our favourite place...
