Spent three nights in a tent on pitch 64. Lots of space. Flat and green. Recommend highly The rain ☔️ didn't put us off. Showers were clean with plenty of hot water Will be happy to return to what we see as our pitch.

Just stayed a week here in a lovely grassy powered site. One of the beat parks we have stayed in on the past years. Close to every thing but far enough back from the foreshore to avoid the fairly incessant winds along this coat. Highly recommended.

Thanks for the lovely review Ross. You are very accurate about the winds here in Robe and we find that the heritage trees and shrub lined fences really help buffer the onslaught. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to hosting you again soon.

We stayed in the cabins. They were huge for a cabin. Very clean...has everything you need. The view across the lake was beautiful. The lady in reception was so nice and friendly and professional. The settings are really nice very tranquil and quiet. I enjoyed viewing a bit of history with the reception area made from the old stables. I...

Thank you for your review Pepper. We strive to keep our entire park clean and tidy and are so glad you noticed. Our lake has looked stunning this month, with plenty of rain during the year keeping everything nice and full. Our park does have an amazing history full of lively characters and interesting events. We love our four legged...

We camped just on night in Robe where nothing is cheap. Surprised to find an unpowered site for a couple cost $48. Nothing much had changed in 25 years accept the price. There is a lot to see in the area but whatever happened to budget camping?

Thanks for taking the time to review Frances. You are quite right, nothing is cheap in Robe in January due to the madness of the holiday season. We have some great deals available at other times of the year and would love to see you again at a quieter time.

Receptionist was very helpful and came out to greet us on our first morning to see how she could help. We'd forgotten to ask about wi-fi. The cabin hasn't changed since my last review. ie the couch is still low. However, the top bunk had been pinned to the wall prior to our arrival as requested - much appreciated and...

Thank you very much for taking the time to review the park and for staying with us again. We haven't forgotten your previous feedback and are still working on the couches. Glad you noticed the pinned bunk and shower chair :) The bird life has been beautiful this year due to the extra water and we are glad our little...

I emailed this tourist park form the UK to see if we could book in with our camper van on our Adelaide to Sydney drive and found them to be very helpful. I had no means of paying for this booking upfront without paying silly exchange rates on my credit card but they were happy to make the booking for...

We were a bit dubious about which tourist/holiday park to choose amongst the three/four available one. I called Lakeside Tourist Park first because it’s got very good online reviews on Tripadvisor etc. The reception at phone was very friendly and I would say honest. (Why honest? Because I told them that I need a powered site for two nights and...

Hi JavadJJ, Thank you for your great review and feedback. We love that you really took some time and put some thought into what you were saying. This kind of review is what we really strive for and the little added humor about the toilet music was just fabulous. Robe really is a family destination, so much for each member...

We stayed for one night in our tent in an unpowered site. The site was a bit of a walk to the toilets and camp kitchen, but was quiet and clean. The facilities were all very clean and my husband was impressed by the water pressure in the shower. I did notice a bit of a funny smell around the...

Hi Johanna S, Thanks for choosing Lakeside to lay your head for the night. We pride ourselves on keeping our park in tip top condition so thanks for noticing. The 'funny smell' you noticed would probably have just been the little extra inland water coming into the lake, it's certainly a little organic sometimes but it's also the sign of...

We stayed here in a Campervan with a Powered site for one night with dogs. Making a booking was simple and our pets were welcomed. Our site was next to the lake. The park was nice and clean, lots of trees. Walking distance to the main street or for a lovely walk around the lake. The amenities weren't flashy but...
