Had a three night stay here in our first time visiting the Barossa. My partner and I loved the Goat Square Cottages so much! We arrived really early in the morning, before 8am. I had called ahead and they had our cottage open for us and later dropped off our breakfast. It was so great after arriving on a very...

We came to the Barossa from QLD to spend our first wedding anniversary. This place was so cute and had all the provisions we needed. A lovely amount of breakfast provisions and some port to be sipped on each night. The wood fire was great! It was walking distance to the centre of town. Beware your head on the low...

Thanks for yet another great review of Goat Square Cottages and glad you enjoyed your first anniversary in the Barossa by staying with us. We pride ourselves in offering a near perfect accommodation experience for the past 14 years. We are searching for replacement sofas for Flaxman Cottage but finding something with the right style is difficult

I recently stayed for 2 nights in Kavel cottages. This was a perfect, no fuss place to stay. Nice little touches, like a bottle of red, chocolates, milk, OJ, tea and coffee, fresh bread, butter, tomatoes (and of course bacon and eggs) were very welcoming. The bed is huge, nice little kitchen and bathroom area. It's clean and modern, and...

Our three night stay in the two bedroom Flaxman cottage at Goat Square was perfect on a cold , wet weekend. Beautifully clean and comfortable, quality inclusions in all the little touches, yummy breakfast makings and a beautifully maintained garden. For such genuinely old and historic buildings the owners have managed to keep all the character, but renovate just the...

Perfect romantic weekend getaway. Charming well maintained cottages. Very clean, with all the luxuries. Large fluffy white towels. Comfortable bed. Bottle of wine and chocolates. Free range eggs and bacon. Spa. Walking distance to Main Street, but very quiet location. Loved it. Thank you for a memorable couple of days.

When we arrived in a cold rainy day we were happy that the fire had been lit and there was a nice bottle of wine waiting for us. Great location as we could walk into town which is essentially one long street filled with shops and cafes. For the price, we were very happy with the accommodation. A quaint little...

We really appreciated the attention to detail and quality of the food provided. The history of the cottages was well explained and the furnishings matched well. Heating was easy to use and kept the place toasty warm. Check in was easy and no fuss. We appreciated the laundry facilities and free washing powder (not always common). The Tourist Info centre...

We recently spent 2 nights in Menge cottage and it was a wonderful cottage to stay in. All the comforts of home with a sensational breakfast supplied in addition to a bottle of wine and chocolates. A comfortable walk to the main street for dinner. Couldn't ask for anything more. Thanks Ngaire.

Stayed for 2 nights in Flaxman Cottage, the 2 bedroom cottage facing the square. As parents with an adult daughter it was great for us. Walking distance to Tanunda's main street and easy driving to the wineries and restaurants of the Barossa. The two bedrooms, separated by the comfortable lounge with pot belly stove, facing the square, form the front...
