We have stayed here a few times and will do so again. Most recently we were here with our 2 young kids who loved the pool and running around the beautiful manicured grounds. Staff very friendly and helpful. Stayed in the Orlando room which was more like small apartment with everything you need. This place reminds me of time spent...

Good points Beautiful surroundings and gardens. Clean and comfortable Good inclusive breakfast Helpful young lady who booked dinner for us at a local restaurant. Bad points Expensive Very difficult to find It's name implies ownership by the famous wine company, which inspired confidence, however the only link is the name of the creek at the property. Difficult to find anyone...

Just an overnight stay but was wonderful. The retreat is just that, a picturesque well maintained garden and retreat from reality. Regretted that we weren't staying longer. Of particular note was the staff, particularly Karen, whom went out of their way to assist us and make our stay in the region comfortable!

This place is extraordinary. The grounds are extensive and most attractive. Well maintained gardens and attractive buildings. Just seven rooms, excellent breakfast and nothing else! We love it. It is really peaceful and there are many local restaurants of excellent quality. The rooms are comfortable. What more could one want? Nice pool too. Strongly recommended.

Wow! What an oasis of paradise amid the vineyards. Lovely gardens, hospitable hosts and a fab wine cellar. Go on Friday or Saturday to try the wines in the cellar. They are nectar. We were in Cedar suite which had a sunken bath and a lovely covered veranda and secluded and verdant garden. The swimming pool was the icing on...

This place probably should change its name from 'Retreat". The cottages are very old which is rustic and fits the area but the interiors are in need of refurbishment. Not really sure the electricity in the bathroom is completely safe and we really didn't appreciate the fact you could reach your bar fridge from the toilet! The rooms were overrun...

Stayed here for 2 nights. The culmination is delightful! Lovely cottages. Our room has an amazing sunken bath tub. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was good. It does however feel as though it could have a bit of money spent on it - but it kind of lends itself to the rustic charm. Amazing grounds . The...

My husband and I had been looking forward to exploring the Barossa for a while and were willing to pay for luxury. If you are too don't come here! We weren't expecting a resort with all the 'mod cons' and were looking forward to staying in a location with the country charm - if that's what your after don't come...

Nice and private retreat, B&B style. Beautiful setting woukd look its best mid spring and through summer. Suites are nicely appointed with old period style furniture with good modern conveniences like a proper coffee machine. Great in room spa bath which easily accommodates two people and likewise the shower with decent water pressure making a nice change from the restricted...

Great getaway with fantastic grounds. The personal service is something I haven't seen in a long time anywhere and it was rather refreshing how friendly the staff were. I will definitely be returning soon to try the rest of the 80 vineyards I didn't get a chance to!! I would suggest to people staying to definitely reserve a table at...
