We've been staying 1-2 times per year at Forest Lodge, however my recent stay with a friend has unfortunately changed the circumstances. We found it difficult to get it touch with the owners (even on the emergency number) and there was never anyone at the reception that we had to email. The free use of bikes where terrible- in poor...

Accommodation just ok only 3 star if you can find it. arrived late friday night and drove up and down for ages trying to find driveway. How hard is it to light it up! Grounds could be much nicer and looked after. Very basic in every aspect so could be so much better with more care and attention

Anne and Ian are the most genuine people ever. They make our trips so relaxing as everything we need is in our lovely little cottage. It's not contemporary design but it's natural organic space and that's why we visit Bright! A great getaway at a very reasonable price.

For the second year in a row we have come to Bright for a mountain bike event for our sons. Forest Lodge is our little haven at the end of long hot days out on the mountain climbing the course. The sofas welcome weary bones and the beds are positively to die for. If you want slick, 5 star luxury,...

Stayed at Forest Lodge Chalets after our usual December/New Year holiday accommodation became suddenly and unexpectedly unavailable in about July. Knowing how heavily Bright is booked over Christmas/New Year, all three families (see post from holidaygirl28) were very lucky to be able to get accommodation here and Ian and Anne were lovely welcoming hosts. Although the units are not luxurious,...

We stayed for a week over the new year period with two other families that we have holidayed with for ten years at another venue. We were all very happy with our new accommodation and all three families rebooked. Beds were great, Anne and Ian were lovely hosts and very accommodating. The pool was cleaned daily and the gardens upkept....

My honest opinion on the forest lodge is only to inform future guest of the things you will expect to see and find when you book and arrive at the Forest Lodge Chalets. Upon arrival I was welcomed by a man who didn't introduce him self, then to inform me that I was in a room that I did not...

This is an honest review and not meant to offend the owner as it's obvious she is very sensitive to feedback she doesn't like, however I feel it is very important for people to have an accurate expectation for holiday accommodation, especially when some people save for a long time to go away and do not want to be disappointed...

I stayed here with a family group and we booked out a few adjoining apartments. I'd read the reviews on Trip Advisor and was a little confused that they were fairly evenly split between "great" and "terrible", so I wasn't sure what to expect. This place is a real mix. On the good side, there are some luxury trimmings that...
