We were thoroughly delighted with our three night stay at Faversham House. A warm greeting & brief but informative property tour from Husband & Wife managers, Alessandro (Alex) and Fabiana, was most appreciated. We loved the feel of the Mt. Brown room with its high ceilings, very comfortable bed with quality linen and of course the view from our room...

Access the property via the long driveway off Centennial Drv, park along the long stone walled entrance and present yourself to this grand old Manor. Alex will greet you with a welcoming smile as though you had just returned home. The ambience is immediately inviting and you have passed back in time as soft music escapes from the sitting room....

We stayed here for one night on a trip through this part of WA. On this occasion we had the house to ourselves and we were very well looked after. Our room was on the top floor and had a great view of the valley. Short walk into the Main Street for dinner. Beautiful open fire when we returned. Breakfast...

Sticking to the traditional old charm of York and surrounds, this place is definitely a little gem. This is a lovely accommodation, suitable for couples, families and friends wanting to make a trip away. Whilst looking a bit outdated, it is kept as the tona period home as possible. The rooms re large and clean, with a comfortable bed and...

We absolutely enjoyed our recent two night stay at Faversham House. We stayed in the "East Indies" room with a beautiful view over the town and valley to Mt Brown. Despite being relatively near the railway line we did not notice or hear it in our room and trains are infrequent and pass slowly. Sitting on the wide old verandah...

We arrived at guesthouse at 1:00pm (as we had arranged with owners) and it was very hot 37degrees but there was no one to let us in. After phone call someone let us in but it was obvious we had disturbed his lunch. The air conditioning was not working so another phone call and owner came to fix it. After...

Thanks for your feedback, I apologise that your stay at Faversham was disappointing. There were a couple of things I understand that contributed . As we discussed, we are at present operating two premises, very close to each other, due to an unforeseen family event. Plans are in hand for a management couple to take over one venue. In the...

Pauline (caretaker) was extremely welcoming and knowledgeable about the history of the house and happily gave us a tour of the house answering all questions. The room was lovely, a beautiful king bed with a balcony the length of the house. A warm open fire in the lounge room remained on throughout the day and Kate into the night. The...
