The bed was clean and comfortable. So on that basic level I was pleased. HOWEVER: The nonsmoking room smelled like smoke; the only towels when I checked in were dirty; neither the TV, the refrigerator, or the lamp next to the bed worked. The handle on the sink was broken and the cushions on the couch didn't fit the couch. The listing claims "toileties included," but I had to go buy toothpaste elsewhere. They advertise breakfast, but when I looked in I saw cereal and a pack of mini muffins--OK, basic, not terrible--but ALL of the chairs were still turned up on the tables. I have stayed here before, though it's been years, and neither time nor management have been good to it. The bed gets it a second star or I would have given it a 1. I will not stay here again, and I would not recommend it.…

If you stay here pray you don't need anything or repairs in your room. Please check bathroom and make sure your door locks before staying. The property is located right off the highway with easy accessibility.

This place is absolutely disgusting ,dirty rooms, no water in shower, cigarettes in peephole of non smoking room, food in trash, rude staff, nasty carpet, druggie motel, and to top it off was over charged.

There were cockroaches in my room. My bathroom was disgustingly dirty and had a pubic hair in the tub. Definitely do not recommend staying there. I will never stay there again and I would probably never stay at a Super 8 hotel again.

I am in Shelby for a Firefighter training at the college. I check in and proceed go to the room. It stank, had dead bugs on the bed and sink, a rat ran by. I checked out 11 mins after arrival. On top of all that they did NOT refund me all my money. I will be going back over there tomorrow, I found another room 5 mins away. They should be shut down!!!

This is a horrible hotel !! It is filthy !! There were cigarette holes in all of the bedding and the bedding stunk so bad. The carpet was dirty, and there was a giant stain on it by the bed. The coffee pot had dead bug parts in it, and no coffee was provided, not that I would want to drink out of anything there. There was only one wash cloth provided, and it and the towels were dirty and stained. The person checking people in was extremely unfriendly and glared at my husband and I. The door did not seal when shut and you could hear everything outside. The locks were not secure on it either. This was the dirtiest hotel that I have ever been in. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here !!

Please close that location. The place is not clean and I had NO room service the entire time I stayed there. There are locals there that lives there, that loud all day and they were fighting, think the police was called please check the cameras police log. If Super 8 is serious about their customer's satisfaction you would return my payment. Thank you, E Hardman

Worst place I have ever stayed at... Very stinky and nasty old carpets in the room. Beside the main road where you could hear all the traffic. No real breakfast. Old heater and air condition. Just the worst placed I have ever stayed at over 25 years of traveling.

I booked online for a $56 room upon check in was charged another $101. So I paid $176 for a $56 room. I was told I’d get a deposit back upon check out. I didn’t. The room was garbage anyway. Why would you need a deposit? I’ve been emailing with the company and was told yesterday the manager hadn’t been available, for days. This is unacceptable and I won’t stay at super 8 or any Wyndham hotels. Ever. Again.
