Was there for business. Location & stay were both great. There were no issues with check in nor the checkout process. Friendly staff,the hospitality was also great. Would stay there again if i have to.

I was looking for a place that allow pets, since my little dog was traveling with me. (A well/behaved, pet therapy dog.). The days inn isn’t anything fancy, but my room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable! I stopped in for a coffee, and to check out the breakfast. The coffee was just mediocre, and the breakfast was kind of pitiful. No bacon, ham, or eggs, just toast, cereal, and waffles. Apparently this place isn’t big on protein. That’s OK. There are limited places to stay with a, pet in Shelby, and this place was certainly adequate. Since there are a lot of bad areas in Shelby, I was glad to find that the Days Inn is in a quiet area, and I felt fairly safe there.

Night from Hell! A Sunday night and people that live there were up until 2 am. Noisy, partying all night. Tenants cook in the room till 1 am causing the place to stink. No respect for paying customers. The illegal imagrants that stay on tax payers dime pretty much run the place into the ground. Kids running around till 2 am screaming and whistling with no concern for anyone trying to sleep. Never again!

Mold everywhere, Shower nozzel fell off, no bath all weekend, no coffee pot, fridge not working, and they decided to renovate and at 7:00 in the morning started banging on the floors above me until 10:00 at night. I went to visit my son at Gardner Webb for the weekend and we could not enjoy a nice movie because of the noise of flooring being pulled by the door and banging on the floor above. On saturday and sunday morning being woke up at 7:00 to the banging on the floors and the loud talking. NO MANAGEMENT in sight to talk to about it at the front desk, and no breakfast!!!! all this FALSE advertisement going on. CHecked out and still could not find the manager, called him and he said call priceline, I called priceline and he said no problems found and they denied a refund or any compensation! And I have photos of all the problems. Plus I told the cleaning lady and she just shrugged her shoulders and walked off! Dont stay here!!!…

I read reviews before going and was alittle worried. How old it looks or that its was sketchy was some of the reviews. So start with the bad... bathroom had a hole in wall and bathroom door was hard to open and shut and carpet could have been cleaner. Good.. Very well lit, no dark areas walking to your car at night no issues seeing all around, Pool was big, room had everything you needed bed couch tv desk bathroom fridge and a ac unit that the wife can turn it down to artic temps, The people up frt very nice every time I had to talk to them. (do wish pool was open longer) I have been to much worse. You are paying less then 100 bucks a night what do want? You want modern there's a Hilton down the road for 189 a night plus tax.

The front desk people were courteous and helpful, but the room was not desirable. Mold on the shower curtain, paint chipping off ceiling, cracked broken wood on bottom of bathroom door, refrigerator broken. Stains on couch and crap underneath cushions. Was disgusted!

Not as advertised. Decor from the 70’s-80’s. Furniture very beat up. Entire shower unit pulling away from wall; very stained facets; heavy burning smell when heat put on; freezer needed defrosting. Only bright spot- a clean bed that I put my own blankets on top of. Breakfast not as advertised- just apples and coffee. Don’t stay here!
