We have just returned from another visit to the Inn at Iris Meadows (our fourth or fifth over several years). It was fantastic again! George and Becky are great hosts and prepare a breakfast fit for display in all the fancy magazines. It not only looks great but tastes delicious too. My husband and I always plan a few days away in the fall, somewhere near the mountains, to enjoy the crisp air and God's beauty. We were starting to lose faith in B&B's after having two back-to-back negative experiences in the past year of "highly acclaimed" ones. Always remember that $$ and a marketing plan can make a not so...

The property is absolutely peaceful, charming, clean, and most importantly comfortable! From the chairs and swings on the outdoor porches, to the restful ambiance of the library inside, the calming effect of the fire...

Our 5 night stay at The Inn at Iris Meadow could not have been more wonderful. Innkeepers, Becky & George Fain, are such warm & welcoming people. We were treated as beloved family, even though this was our first time with them. Upon arrival, we were greeted by "Scratch' the Inn's dog. She enthusiastically leads all guests to the front...

If I had to choose one word to describe how I felt leaving the Inn at Iris Meadows it is renewed. The inn keepers Becky and George Fain achieve the art of pampering to perfection. Each breakfast prepared fresh, delicious and abundant. I've had the privilege to stay in three of the seven bedrooms on separate occasions. Firefly Summers Room,...

“Our preference is the Garden Room on the second floor. It is beautiful and we love the fireplace in the LARGE bathroom. All you have to do is open the door to the patio for two overlooking the gardens.”

“Many of the rooms have a large tub and hand-held shower. You will want to plan extra time to bathe in the tub and use the hand held shower to rinse your hair after shampooing. I did this at night which enhanced my relaxation. You may also choose one of the rooms that has a standing shower.”

“There are seven rooms to choose from.... all with their unique personality. Some face the front driveway, while others face hillsides, the town, or the gardens....ask if you have a preference. Make sure you leave time to just relax on the porch....”
